Sakura's pretty realistic out of most of them. She's born from a civilian family, teamed up with 2 insane monsters who has superb eyes and a kyuubi fox, she didn't even stand a chance compared to them. But no, she persevered and worked hard, trained her ass off and became a respected medic, which by the way, without her, countless of people could've died already. Its disappointing how no one seems to really appreciate how IMPORTANT the role of a medic ninja is, not only that but she's strong enough on her own to PROTECT herself and SAVE others without relaying on anyone else. Its impressive how far she's come that even with 2 monster of a teammates with her, she stands EQUAL to them. She no longer need them to save her, instead, she's the one saving THEM.
Here's the thing the reason people hate/dislike her is not because of her strength but because of how she treated Naruto, Naruto saved Sakura countless times except she always clung to Sasuke and she barely even thanked Naruto.

Id argue 1st half not so much Naive since she was really smart (so much so she didn't cheat on the written test for the chunin exams and helped heal Naruto and Sasuke a little with little to no medical knowledge). But she wasn't suited for the types of jobs like bodyguard or fighter. She was a healer at heart. They could've helped made her a strategist but Shikamaru already filled that position. Even a partial one would conflict later on. Her reactions are actually the most logical and human like: -see a person kill someone you love=go bananas Vs Breaking down in shock and sadness. The 1st is more akin to a sociopath / psychopath tbh. The latter is your typical children / woman like reaction. And hell some men too if you're attached enough to whomever they kill or gravely injure.
Aside from healing countless people in shippuden and having massive strength, people forget she did this while on limited chakra while she was storing it for her seal. Sakura real mvp. I wish this video actually mentioned that. Smh
Wow, I realized that Sakura helped a lot at Pain's attack, but all of the toxic fans don't. I'm sad that they only knew she cried while Naruto was fighting, but she was much, much more useful.
Sakura was not intended or portrayed to play the major character as Kishimoto said. That might be the case, So, she was shown with less skills, fighting experience or doing amazing things at the beginning of the show. She never quit and became very determined to be strong. She nailed it at last. She is the most realistic character to me.

Sakura actually helped A LOT throughout the anime and she is far from being useless. It's a shame that Kishimoto didn't give her another major fight scene after Sasori (which was early in the anime) and I blame poor character writing but even so she still contributed so much to the entirety of the show and literally one of the reason why Naruto is still alive.

I like Sakura. I’m more disappointed that they didn’t write her character a little better, she had more potential. I started watching as a kid and as a girl she was really the only main female character to look up to. I like this show but there’s a lot they could have done differently for all the characters.
Kishi really did her dirty. With most of her Character growth happening off screen during time skips. A lot of her on screen moments fall flat and disapoint anyone who was hoping for more. The famous hair cutting in the forest of death comes to mind. That doesn't stop Kishi from trying to portray these moments as otherwise then immediately having Sakura go back to crying and begging someone else to fix problems for her. She had a lot of potential for growth as one of the few characters not from a ninja family and a priveledged background. While she gets stronger and becomes more fond of Naruto as a teammate (growing into someone more accepting) she keeps coming up short when it counts.
I hated Sakura for like 3/4 of the entire naruto franchise all the way up to the war arc. She was not only useless and incompetent, she put the team in jeopardy and treated naruto like shit, the same person that saved her so many times. Then she was very useful during her fight with Kaguya and even surpassed lady tsunade. I knew Sakura was a good shinobi but I expected more, especially when she is one of the main characters. I hated her at the beginning, but I started to respect her more near the end.
i don't understand why people hate sakura so much. her character development is really good in shippuden, and she learns from all her past mistakes. the one thing i agree with is that people are saying the writers could have developed her better, and i think that's true. for one of the show's main characters, i think she could have been at least a little stronger in the original, but honestly i think it doesn't matter too much since we got to see how much her character grew. tldr: sakura is not a bad character.

Growing up means realizing Sakura had the foundation of an amazing character but was constantly pushed to the background to make room for Naruto and Sasuke to have yet another godlike power upgrade. She barely got her own fights and character arcs. In fights that included all of team 7 she was always in the back when there was no reason for her to be, something that constantly happens with the female ninja. The writers never allowed her to become more which is a shame because she had a lot of potential. Her fight with Sasori was an amzing starting point for change, but then they downgraded her again.

In her official novel 'Sakura Hiden' she fought Kido a power villain who uses a nine tails cloak and defeated him alone. 👊😎 She's the heroine of the show.

That doesn't stop Kishi from trying to portray these moments as otherwise then immediately having Sakura go back to crying and begging someone else to fix problems for her. She had a lot of potential for growth as one of the few characters not from a ninja family and a priveledged background. While she gets stronger and becomes more fond of Naruto as a teammate (growing into someone more accepting) she keeps coming up short when it counts.
I hated Sakura for like 3/4 of the entire naruto franchise all the way up to the war arc. She was not only useless and incompetent, she put the team in jeopardy and treated naruto like shit, the same person that saved her so many times. Then she was very useful during her fight with Kaguya and even surpassed lady tsunade. I knew Sakura was a good shinobi but I expected more, especially when she is one of the main characters. I hated her at the beginning, but I started to respect her more near the end.

i don't understand why people hate sakura so much. her character development is really good in shippuden, and she learns from all her past mistakes. the one thing i agree with is that people are saying the writers could have developed her better, and i think that's true. for one of the show's main characters, i think she could have been at least a little stronger in the original, but honestly i think it doesn't matter too much since we got to see how much her character grew. tldr: sakura is not a bad character.

Growing up means realizing Sakura had the foundation of an amazing character but was constantly pushed to the background to make room for Naruto and Sasuke to have yet another godlike power upgrade. She barely got her own fights and character arcs. In fights that included all of team 7 she was always in the back when there was no reason for her to be, something that constantly happens with the female ninja. The writers never allowed her to become more which is a shame because she had a lot of potential. Her fight with Sasori was an amzing starting point for change, but then they downgraded her again.

As I mentioned Sakuras weakness is Sasuke and that's why she couldn't kill him but Naruto couldn't either. Sasuke had a personal mission that didn't involved them but they still didn't give up on him.
