I really wish we had the chance to play as Ruby and Sapphire, but that might have resulted in the game having more bugs, so I guess we got the lesser of the two evils with making them NPCs.

I came up with my opinion because the characters tend to treat Ruby and Sapphire in a different way from how they treat Garnet, as well as the unique personality she has excluding the times when her components disagree. The others often keep on saying they miss Garnet whenever she unfuses.

Yes, they float (I'm not talking about Peridot), but just keep note of that. I agree in my opinion with Lycan, because Peridot floats just like Yoshi (talked about it above).
