      It’s one of the most breathtaking structures we have ever been in. It’s really difficult to capture its magic on camera. It must be felt and experienced in person.

    Tickled me so damn good I wanted to travel there NOW!!! WOW is an understatement.😍 What a stunning church and the architecture just divinely out of this world!!! Then the house was built during the 14th century, damn!!! Best so far!!! Thanks darlings!!!😘😘😘

    As a teen, I visited Beauvais to stay with my French pen-friend who lived on the Rue St Pierre, overlooking the cathedral. It would have been huge if completed!

      This is what we thought too, just imagine how MASSIVE it would have been. Bigger than Cathédrale d’Amiens! And a pen-friend, so cool! Physical letters are so special to receive. We still send post cards to our friends, it just feels so special.

      @@AntonandSinan this was many years ago in 1972... Her dad was pastor of the Protestant church on Rue St Pierre. I remember the horological clock in the cathedral.

    The nave was never built.

      You are correct, it was the transept and choir that were built.
