Try the Character Miscellany first so that you have an idea on how to use the characters and have a feel on the combat. Although it is entertaining to watch someone flounder around in early game combat (just smashing normal attack until the enemy die) after some time, it becomes annoying to watch.
There's a lot of Story Teasers with lore you won't find in game. There's things about past gods, past events, and even more wanderer backstory (I think there's also some Lyney backstory too, but I don't remember). Some people also like the Character Miscellanies, although I personally find them to be really boring.
Fun fact about the Mora, the traveler spends 600-700K Moras to feed Paimon every month, and the usual salary of a guard in Fontaine is if I remember correctly 200k Moras a month.
Something to mention about Nahida's and Furina's trailers that don't include spoilers: Nahida's: It has special teyvat subtitles at the bottom that you didn't notice that spoil the REAL story which was shown in a very simplified manner in the teaser, that and when she said "And I waved goodbye" she reaches out her arm the same way she does in her character demo before she's pulled out of the dream she's having fun in and gets taken back to her harsh reality. Furina's: I'd say 99% of the community does not know this including lore lovers and those who pay attention to detail but Furina is actually acting in that teaser. Her ability to act sad or in control in the teaser was so good it fooled everyone in real life. She's actually acting out the character from a pretty cool side story. Side stories and more specifically "World quests" are like mini versions of the main quest that expand on lore alot but tend to have alot of dialogue with no voice acting so people skip it or miss out on a lot of detail due to information overload. However they are worth doing as they often have quest specific boss fights, music, and whole areas of the map that are hidden behind the quests. Major events which appear past the x.5 updates such as past 1.5 or past 2.5 and so on tend to have heavy themes of upcoming areas, for example in 2.8 update before Sumeru dropped there was a whole limited time event which takes place almost exclusively in dreams and you even get a line or two from Nahida speaking inside your head saying she knows you're planning to go to sumeru or something similar. Once you finish the main quest until Sumeru you should have enough pre-requisite knowledge to understand the events so I highly recommend you check out the events in video format or in a summary video, or you can finish up to Fontaine and watch them all after that. But I'd highly advise against watching the events DURING the fontaine main story quest as it can ruin some pretty major moments.

Nahida’s two trailers were marketing genius. They really made us like Nahida. And these trailers came out shortly before her first banner and new story update. Everyone was emotionally invested in pulling for her and continuing the story to save her.
Wanderer is one of the most lore based character. Remember what i said about twin sister in previous video, it's only a small percentage of his story 😂. Non spoiler description about him, he's from Inazuma (the Japanese inspired region) ,if you're not realize the thing yet, you'll shock about the "twin sister" reveal, and then he join a faction from snezhnaya(Russian) and become a big plot points on sumeru (middle east region). And after the conclusion of sumeru archon quest (a main mission, similar to trailblazer quest or something from hsr i forgot), he received his own focused story archon quest, which reveal what's going on in the world that involves himself and pretty much change everything too. And in the end of that story they also tease you that he might comeback in the future with something great Btw the greatest thing is he's inspired by bohemian rhapsody (someone already mention the details)
Since you will only get this lore from character's "dosier", "Fischl" is a fictional character from Amy's favorite book as a kid: "Flowers for Princess Fischl". And yes, I love chuuni characters too.

The thing about Yoimiya's teaser is that people think Yoimiya is the best thing about summer but she thinks that best thing about summer is the fireworks. Hnece Paimon's confusion about her answer. BUT the wonderful thing about that shot at the end is that it frames both Yoimiya and the fireworks behind her, so the answer is both.
Alejandro definitely did a great job differentiating Cyno and Jing Yuan, but it boggles the mind that Lyney and Blade share a VA. Edit- typed that before actually getting to Lyney! xD How about a less surprising one then- Dehya and Yanqing.

I don't know if anyone told you yet but Wanderer (or Scaramouche, his codename while acting as a villain) Story is based on Bohemian Rhapsody. His character is also full of references in lines and dialogues. Scaramouche Music Theme is also called "Ominous Fandango". Its not something important on the main quest, more for him personally. You also need to figure out how the song lyrics connect to the story.

What that person meant by "story about their character" is, that just like companoin quests in HSR, every 5star in Genshin has a story quest associated with them. 4 star characters, on the other hand, have "hangouts".
Your assumption on Wanderer was pretty spot-on. There is another official story teaser from 2022 that explains it a bit more ("The Divine Will"). Note, if you're planning to play the game you'll see it in-game, so you might want to skip it. One problem with the character is that he was mostly developed in time-limited events and arcane lore drops, so a lot of "new" players don't share the affection of long-term players
I'd rather people paused the video than talk over it and completely miss everything the characters have to say. :) I saw that others already talked about Fischl's book, so I'll just jump to Wriothesley. I don't think the crime the father in that teaser had been convicted of was anything horrible and his stay at the Fortress of Meropide won't be years. The reason Wriothesley wanted to handle the case himself was to make sure the girl was not accidentally upset. The Duke has a heart of gold and he loves tea: two reasons why he is one of my biggest favorites. At the time Zhongli's teaser came out they did not want to reveal too much about him. It only shows how he doesn't give a care about the prize of things he purchases, but does care care about people. The Ferrylady got a pretty flower that does not grow in Liyue, Xiangling got a lucky number tip and the poor fellow whose wife was sick got his heirloom hairpins back as well as money so he won't have to pawn them again. The chopsticks, however, ostensibly a gift to Childe, were actually paid for by the Fatui Bank, which I feel shows a sense of humor. Oh...Kazuha and Neuvillette will be available in about 3 weeks...

You sort of guesstimate mora to be equivalent to JPY (Japanese Yen) or 100 Mora to 1 USD as rough guesses. $40 for two meals, plus $10 for the experimental meal. That's about a $9 tip. Then you consider all the other things Zhongli purchases in his teaser in the several ten thousands, for example, the chopsticks at 128,000 Mora being about $1,280 USD more or less.
BS. Sparkle's demo is really good for HSR standard. But compared to GI demos, it doesn't even scratch the top 5. All the archon demo (except for Venti) are way better than Sparkle's. On top of my head, Yelan, Itto, Klee, Alhaitham, Eula, Hu Tao, Navia, Wanderer, and Faruzan are way better. There are more demos better than Sparkle's that I haven't listed but the point still stands. HSR demo are just levels below in terms of standard and Sparkles (and Argenti) demo is the only one that could be placed besides GI demo and not look like trash. And you must remember, HSR came years after GI. If any copying ever happened, it was and will always be HSR copying GI.
While I agree that Gi demos are far better in terms of music and details. Can't really comment on someone's personal opinion. Kafka, Argenti and Sparkle are the only three demos that can be put on par with GI demos

Anna suffers from a rare disease so Anthony has to work hard to help his sister. There're daily commissions about these two as well. For Anthony, We have to help him collect herbs to make medicine and for Anna's quest, it's a story after she recovered from her illness.

tbh, raiden's friends really aren't spoilers because genshin has a way of writing where everyone can have the most detailed story ever but we focus on them now, not who they were. Like, here's something you never would see in the story but it's written throughout 5 artifact sets lore. Like, remember the oni girl? (insect girl) She had an adopted son that, after the oni's death, was homelesss and depressed, and then a tengu taught him to fight for multiple years until he could hit her wing, which then lead to the adopted son making an entire clan.... which died out and we as the traveler killed one of the last clansmen! I'm not kidding, you can find a random samurai with a boss bar and name, kill him, and nothing else happens, the samurai was there for continuity and his lore is completely for us to find. and that's only the oni girl, the tengu has his story and students which linked to another island where the student let out a thunder bird during a war and accidentally killed her pirate troupe. And the thunder bird is linked to another island while the pirates got sent to the golden apple, a mondstat related event only island. bruh.

Just figured I'd let you know that your apology for pausing is the reason I actually stuck around to watch this video, there's so many reactors that talk over and miss so much, I hope you know that this aspect of your videos is 100% a positive one
For context on the Raiden Shogun one, those are her friends Sasayuri (a Tengu like Kujo Sara), Chiyo (an Oni, like Itto) and Kitsune Saiguu (A Kitsune like Yae Miko). The only one she fights is Chiyo. She gets corrupted after being eaten by a Nue (And subsequently ripping herself out) and Raiden Shogun battles the corrupted Chiyo and manages to cut off her arm and one of her horns. She flees afterward leaving her ultimate fate unknown. Sasayuri died many years ago and there's not much information on them. Both Chiyo and Kitsune Saiguu both disappeared/died 500 years ago during a major event in Genshin's history called the Cataclysm. Kitsune Saiguu was Yae Miko's predecessor and died protecting Inazuma during the Cataclysm.
I've actually never seen that anime, but I'm pretty sure I've seen clips of it on youtube. It's the one with the really Chunni girl with the eyepatch, right? Short blacking-purple hair I think?
Just a random thought…if Yae Miko ever met Foxians in the Xianzhou, she would automatically be worshipped for being a nine tailed fox immortal who lives an abundant indulgent life 😂

"Alas, but where had Lord Rukkhadevata gone, to we all eager to meet her once again." Realizing the Lord had perished, around her they gathered, to tears they were dashed. Heyyy, ngl i don't rllt like when people pause too much, or when people talk over stuff. However, seeing how you're one of the few who is like able to put stuff together and make sense with it, is rlly nice.
Sadly genshin characters don't have official ages. The community just goes by the general rule of if it looks like a kid then they are a kid. There are some educated guesses especially mondstadt characters due to them being heavily explored in the manga and the back stories in game. Fischl is I believe around 16(?), Amber being around 19 and both Kaeya and Diluc being around 23
I don't think you can really conclude much about ages. I can see fischl being 18+ personally (maybe i've missed something in the story but i don't think it is mentioned anywhere). In addition we have to say going by an age that any sort of anime or anime-related game gives you is a really bad idea. Because at least half of the characters that look like kids are probably like 10000 year old beings in anime. i won't spoil if that applies to some characters here but we all know that going by that just ends up badly. I think the only thing we should really all be able to settle on is: stay away from the child model characters, they are there to protecc only.

There is a series of book in game called "Flowers for Princess Fischl" and she obvious is a fan of those. But in her summer vacation arc we visit her supposed imaginary home for real and it might be that her impact on this place could be more than just a observer. Zhongli is always broke. Fischl is hilarious and an enigma. She is 100% chuuni and delusional, but when the chuuni has heavenly granted magic powers and a talking electro raven, you start to question whether she is actually crazy or telling the truth.
Fischl’s real name is Amy, she got the name Fischl from a storybook. But there could be a real Fischl out there, since storybooks in genshin can hide truth. And coincidentally “Amy” is actually a demon name like other genshin god names like Barbarossa and Paimon. So many suspect there’s more to Fischl we haven’t learned yet
Ganyu's bell I think is just a design choice that points to her being a goat... She's half illuminated beast and her adeptus form looks like a giant goat-like beast. 100,000 heartbeats is the daily average. So basically, cocogoat hasn't slept in over 24 hours 😂 Edit: Raiden's friends died in different circumstances. If I'm not wrong, the Tengu died during the fight with Orobashi (the giant white snake Raiden was stepping on). The Oni was affected by erosion (basically their minds start deteriorating due to living so long that they eventually go insane) The fox, Kitsune Saiguu sacrificed herself to seal a monster. Btw, Cyno loves dad jokes and yes, Cyyu's (the eng va) vocal range is crazy Unfortunately the biggest downside to this game is the inability to pet the doggos and cattos. Though we do have an upcoming even where we can play with cats~ Btw, the prescription in Baizhu's demo is actually a real thing in game. It's part of a Mondstadt daily commission chain where we help the siblings mentioned here to collect the ingredients for the medicine. And yes, he seems sus, but he's actually just a really good doctor that cares a lot about his patients. He cares so much that he's literally ruining his own health to cure them. Navia is actually the boss of the mafia, though they don't participate in outright illegal activities. As for why her subordinates seem incompetent, there's actually a really sad reason for it. It still makes me sad to this day, but I won't spoil. It's part of the main story, so you'll have to see it for yourself. In Xianyun's trailer, we see her adding fish to a lake. That lake is actually found on her mountain abode and it is a fishing spot where we can get a rare type of fish. She adds them there so we would come visit. She's the true mom of genshin. She raised Ganyu, Shenhe, 2 npcs (I won't spoil the names), basically took care of Gaming's family issues, adopted the traveler, and is an all around aunty to every kid in liyue. 😂 Also, those aren't gloves, they're her talons turned into her hands.
A funny thing about Zhongli; he's a big spender, but he's actually broke/horrible with money. He just agrees to the price no matter what and gets everyone else to pay for him

It was her walkabout incidental battle music, so unless you made a special effort, you'd only hear the first few seconds of it as it shuts down once battle is done. But, the whole thing is spectacular (especially when her electric raven joins her) and so evocative of Fischl's mindscape. I think extravagant, flamboyant, exuberant, dramatic sums up the feel.
don't be fooled with zhongli. he's a big spender yes, but childe's the one paying for him. hilarious how the expensive-looking daddy is the sugar baby of the two, though. damn you're making me whip out the calculator. ok according to mayoclinic normal heartbeat per minute is 60-100, let's go with 80. 106,327 divided by 80 is 1,329 (minutes), so let's bring that up to 1,330. divided again by 60, and we get 22.1 (hours). i THINK my math is correct but i studied communication, not math, so if i got anything wrong feel free to correct me. in any case 22 hours is definitely a very long time to stay awake and ganyu needs better work-life balance. wanderer is an interesting case study in how hoyo makes a villain into a redeemable character people would actually play. yes, after the fight he turns and joins our side. the story of how he turns is a whole ass story quest you do after sumeru's archon quest. i don't know how redeemable the story makes him, but it definitely tugs on your heartstrings. furina's teaser is very much story related, yes! it's related to the prophecy that fontaine would be flooded and the hydro archon will be left weeping in her throne that the version trailer mentioned. the whole thing will be revealed in fontaine's archon quest. it's a doozy and i think it might be the best archon quest the game has cooked up so far. looking back, it's interesting to see how the teasers started out silly but gradually became more serious as the game's story progresses. but also, don't worry about pausing! i'd rather you pause so you can follow through with your thoughts. it's always nice to learn how others think of the teasers. also damn that's a long ass comment. i'm sorry to put you through that wall of text.
While Kazuha is one of my favourite characters and character designs in the game, I _wish_ he looked as albino in game as he does in his teaser. It just looks cooler.

We don't really know anything about the upcoming anime series other than it exists. They've only shown the one short trailer for it and even that was over a year ago. There have been "leaks" saying all sorts of things like it'll have 100+ episodes and it'll cover the story before the start of the game (in other words a ton of the lore) and it'll be the most expensive anime ever made (at least among the anime that ufotable has made), etc. Personally, as much as I'd like to believe these leaks, I don't really trust them. Until we get some actual official info, I'd be wary of any "news" or leaks.

There's a lot of Story Teasers with lore you won't find in game. There's things about past gods, past events, and even more wanderer backstory (I think there's also some Lyney backstory too, but I don't remember). Some people also like the Character Miscellanies, although I personally find them to be really boring.

Something to mention about Nahida's and Furina's trailers that don't include spoilers:
Nahida's: It has special teyvat subtitles at the bottom that you didn't notice that spoil the REAL story which was shown in a very simplified manner in the teaser, that and when she said "And I waved goodbye" she reaches out her arm the same way she does in her character demo before she's pulled out of the dream she's having fun in and gets taken back to her harsh reality.
Furina's: I'd say 99% of the community does not know this including lore lovers and those who pay attention to detail but Furina is actually acting in that teaser. Her ability to act sad or in control in the teaser was so good it fooled everyone in real life. She's actually acting out the character from a pretty cool side story.
Side stories and more specifically "World quests" are like mini versions of the main quest that expand on lore alot but tend to have alot of dialogue with no voice acting so people skip it or miss out on a lot of detail due to information overload. However they are worth doing as they often have quest specific boss fights, music, and whole areas of the map that are hidden behind the quests.
Major events which appear past the x.5 updates such as past 1.5 or past 2.5 and so on tend to have heavy themes of upcoming areas, for example in 2.8 update before Sumeru dropped there was a whole limited time event which takes place almost exclusively in dreams and you even get a line or two from Nahida speaking inside your head saying she knows you're planning to go to sumeru or something similar.
Once you finish the main quest until Sumeru you should have enough pre-requisite knowledge to understand the events so I highly recommend you check out the events in video format or in a summary video, or you can finish up to Fontaine and watch them all after that. But I'd highly advise against watching the events DURING the fontaine main story quest as it can ruin some pretty major moments.

Nahida’s two trailers were marketing genius. They really made us like Nahida. And these trailers came out shortly before her first banner and new story update. Everyone was emotionally invested in pulling for her and continuing the story to save her.

Wanderer is one of the most lore based character. Remember what i said about twin sister in previous video, it's only a small percentage of his story 😂.
Non spoiler description about him, he's from Inazuma (the Japanese inspired region) ,if you're not realize the thing yet, you'll shock about the "twin sister" reveal, and then he join a faction from snezhnaya(Russian) and become a big plot points on sumeru (middle east region).
And after the conclusion of sumeru archon quest (a main mission, similar to trailblazer quest or something from hsr i forgot), he received his own focused story archon quest, which reveal what's going on in the world that involves himself and pretty much change everything too.
And in the end of that story they also tease you that he might comeback in the future with something great
Btw the greatest thing is he's inspired by bohemian rhapsody (someone already mention the details)

Its not something important on the main quest, more for him personally. You also need to figure out how the song lyrics connect to the story.

Your assumption on Wanderer was pretty spot-on. There is another official story teaser from 2022 that explains it a bit more ("The Divine Will"). Note, if you're planning to play the game you'll see it in-game, so you might want to skip it. One problem with the character is that he was mostly developed in time-limited events and arcane lore drops, so a lot of "new" players don't share the affection of long-term players
I'd rather people paused the video than talk over it and completely miss everything the characters have to say. :)
I saw that others already talked about Fischl's book, so I'll just jump to Wriothesley. I don't think the crime the father in that teaser had been convicted of was anything horrible and his stay at the Fortress of Meropide won't be years. The reason Wriothesley wanted to handle the case himself was to make sure the girl was not accidentally upset. The Duke has a heart of gold and he loves tea: two reasons why he is one of my biggest favorites.
At the time Zhongli's teaser came out they did not want to reveal too much about him. It only shows how he doesn't give a care about the prize of things he purchases, but does care care about people. The Ferrylady got a pretty flower that does not grow in Liyue, Xiangling got a lucky number tip and the poor fellow whose wife was sick got his heirloom hairpins back as well as money so he won't have to pawn them again. The chopsticks, however, ostensibly a gift to Childe, were actually paid for by the Fatui Bank, which I feel shows a sense of humor.

You sort of guesstimate mora to be equivalent to JPY (Japanese Yen) or 100 Mora to 1 USD as rough guesses. $40 for two meals, plus $10 for the experimental meal. That's about a $9 tip. Then you consider all the other things Zhongli purchases in his teaser in the several ten thousands, for example, the chopsticks at 128,000 Mora being about $1,280 USD more or less.

BS. Sparkle's demo is really good for HSR standard. But compared to GI demos, it doesn't even scratch the top 5. All the archon demo (except for Venti) are way better than Sparkle's. On top of my head, Yelan, Itto, Klee, Alhaitham, Eula, Hu Tao, Navia, Wanderer, and Faruzan are way better. There are more demos better than Sparkle's that I haven't listed but the point still stands. HSR demo are just levels below in terms of standard and Sparkles (and Argenti) demo is the only one that could be placed besides GI demo and not look like trash.
And you must remember, HSR came years after GI. If any copying ever happened, it was and will always be HSR copying GI.

While I agree that Gi demos are far better in terms of music and details. Can't really comment on someone's personal opinion. Kafka, Argenti and Sparkle are the only three demos that can be put on par with GI demos

Anna suffers from a rare disease so Anthony has to work hard to help his sister. There're daily commissions about these two as well. For Anthony, We have to help him collect herbs to make medicine and for Anna's quest, it's a story after she recovered from her illness.
The character with hands that look like black gloves but aren't gloves is Arlecchino, also known as "the knave", she looks like Eula but has a grey, black, white and red color palette and has Xs on her eyes

Okay, don't say sorry, IDK how many here like me, put your video on the background while playing and hear it like a podcast. tbh, raiden's friends really aren't spoilers because genshin has a way of writing where everyone can have the most detailed story ever but we focus on them now, not who they were. Like, here's something you never would see in the story but it's written throughout 5 artifact sets lore.
Like, remember the oni girl? (insect girl) She had an adopted son that, after the oni's death, was homelesss and depressed, and then a tengu taught him to fight for multiple years until he could hit her wing, which then lead to the adopted son making an entire clan.... which died out and we as the traveler killed one of the last clansmen! I'm not kidding, you can find a random samurai with a boss bar and name, kill him, and nothing else happens, the samurai was there for continuity and his lore is completely for us to find.
and that's only the oni girl, the tengu has his story and students which linked to another island where the student let out a thunder bird during a war and accidentally killed her pirate troupe. And the thunder bird is linked to another island while the pirates got sent to the golden apple, a mondstat related event only island. bruh.

Nahida's teaser hits different.
For context on the Raiden Shogun one, those are her friends Sasayuri (a Tengu like Kujo Sara), Chiyo (an Oni, like Itto) and Kitsune Saiguu (A Kitsune like Yae Miko). The only one she fights is Chiyo. She gets corrupted after being eaten by a Nue (And subsequently ripping herself out) and Raiden Shogun battles the corrupted Chiyo and manages to cut off her arm and one of her horns. She flees afterward leaving her ultimate fate unknown. Sasayuri died many years ago and there's not much information on them. Both Chiyo and Kitsune Saiguu both disappeared/died 500 years ago during a major event in Genshin's history called the Cataclysm. Kitsune Saiguu was Yae Miko's predecessor and died protecting Inazuma during the Cataclysm.
I think Sasayuri was killed by the snake god? Raiden lore is sadly not in the main story and buried deep in world quests.

Sadly genshin characters don't have official ages. The community just goes by the general rule of if it looks like a kid then they are a kid. There are some educated guesses especially mondstadt characters due to them being heavily explored in the manga and the back stories in game. Fischl is I believe around 16(?), Amber being around 19 and both Kaeya and Diluc being around 23

I don't think you can really conclude much about ages. I can see fischl being 18+ personally (maybe i've missed something in the story but i don't think it is mentioned anywhere). In addition we have to say going by an age that any sort of anime or anime-related game gives you is a really bad idea. Because at least half of the characters that look like kids are probably like 10000 year old beings in anime. i won't spoil if that applies to some characters here but we all know that going by that just ends up badly.
I think the only thing we should really all be able to settle on is: stay away from the child model characters, they are there to protecc only.

Not a Spoiler just one of features in genshin : in Nahida's teaser, you may notice a strange little subtitles language. it's from "teyvat's language" which is the official alphabet in the game's world. yeah, they're really creating new alphabet for this game. (idk if other games already done that)
also maybe you can check video of "Character's Mischelanny" if you're interested in their kits and more of their backstory. since it's including all characters in the game, you can choose only all your favourites or choosing based on the character teaser list only. your choice brother 🍻

Late teens to mid twenties, I'd say. (The game never says actual ages, but you can easily determine. She's been described as a "fish lady".)

Fischl is hilarious and an enigma. She is 100% chuuni and delusional, but when the chuuni has heavenly granted magic powers and a talking electro raven, you start to question whether she is actually crazy or telling the truth.
Fischl’s real name is Amy, she got the name Fischl from a storybook. But there could be a real Fischl out there, since storybooks in genshin can hide truth. And coincidentally “Amy” is actually a demon name like other genshin god names like Barbarossa and Paimon. So many suspect there’s more to Fischl we haven’t learned yet

Ganyu's bell I think is just a design choice that points to her being a goat... She's half illuminated beast and her adeptus form looks like a giant goat-like beast. 100,000 heartbeats is the daily average. So basically, cocogoat hasn't slept in over 24 hours 😂
Edit: Raiden's friends died in different circumstances. If I'm not wrong, the Tengu died during the fight with Orobashi (the giant white snake Raiden was stepping on). The Oni was affected by erosion (basically their minds start deteriorating due to living so long that they eventually go insane) The fox, Kitsune Saiguu sacrificed herself to seal a monster.
Btw, Cyno loves dad jokes and yes, Cyyu's (the eng va) vocal range is crazy
Unfortunately the biggest downside to this game is the inability to pet the doggos and cattos. Though we do have an upcoming even where we can play with cats~
Btw, the prescription in Baizhu's demo is actually a real thing in game. It's part of a Mondstadt daily commission chain where we help the siblings mentioned here to collect the ingredients for the medicine. And yes, he seems sus, but he's actually just a really good doctor that cares a lot about his patients. He cares so much that he's literally ruining his own health to cure them.
Navia is actually the boss of the mafia, though they don't participate in outright illegal activities. As for why her subordinates seem incompetent, there's actually a really sad reason for it. It still makes me sad to this day, but I won't spoil. It's part of the main story, so you'll have to see it for yourself.
In Xianyun's trailer, we see her adding fish to a lake. That lake is actually found on her mountain abode and it is a fishing spot where we can get a rare type of fish. She adds them there so we would come visit. She's the true mom of genshin. She raised Ganyu, Shenhe, 2 npcs (I won't spoil the names), basically took care of Gaming's family issues, adopted the traveler, and is an all around aunty to every kid in liyue. 😂 Also, those aren't gloves, they're her talons turned into her hands.

It's Fischl's theme from a special summer event. It was her walkabout incidental battle music, so unless you made a special effort, you'd only hear the first few seconds of it as it shuts down once battle is done. But, the whole thing is spectacular (especially when her electric raven joins her) and so evocative of Fischl's mindscape. I think extravagant, flamboyant, exuberant, dramatic sums up the feel.
don't be fooled with zhongli. he's a big spender yes, but childe's the one paying for him. hilarious how the expensive-looking daddy is the sugar baby of the two, though.
damn you're making me whip out the calculator. ok according to mayoclinic normal heartbeat per minute is 60-100, let's go with 80. 106,327 divided by 80 is 1,329 (minutes), so let's bring that up to 1,330. divided again by 60, and we get 22.1 (hours). i THINK my math is correct but i studied communication, not math, so if i got anything wrong feel free to correct me. in any case 22 hours is definitely a very long time to stay awake and ganyu needs better work-life balance.
wanderer is an interesting case study in how hoyo makes a villain into a redeemable character people would actually play. yes, after the fight he turns and joins our side. the story of how he turns is a whole ass story quest you do after sumeru's archon quest. i don't know how redeemable the story makes him, but it definitely tugs on your heartstrings.
furina's teaser is very much story related, yes! it's related to the prophecy that fontaine would be flooded and the hydro archon will be left weeping in her throne that the version trailer mentioned. the whole thing will be revealed in fontaine's archon quest. it's a doozy and i think it might be the best archon quest the game has cooked up so far.
looking back, it's interesting to see how the teasers started out silly but gradually became more serious as the game's story progresses. but also, don't worry about pausing! i'd rather you pause so you can follow through with your thoughts. it's always nice to learn how others think of the teasers.

While Kazuha is one of my favourite characters and character designs in the game, I _wish_ he looked as albino in game as he does in his teaser. It just looks cooler.

We don't really know anything about the upcoming anime series other than it exists. They've only shown the one short trailer for it and even that was over a year ago.
There have been "leaks" saying all sorts of things like it'll have 100+ episodes and it'll cover the story before the start of the game (in other words a ton of the lore) and it'll be the most expensive anime ever made (at least among the anime that ufotable has made), etc. Personally, as much as I'd like to believe these leaks, I don't really trust them. Until we get some actual official info, I'd be wary of any "news" or leaks.
