Have you ever prayed and wondered why your prayers weren’t being answered? There are many things that come into our minds when prayers go unanswered. Maybe God didn’t hear me? Maybe I don’t have enough faith? Maybe I am doing something wrong, and I just don’t know what that is? The Bible doesn’t answer every question that may come into our minds, but it does give us some answers as to why prayer doesn’t always work. In our passage today, James tells us what prayer can do when it’s done the right way for the right reason.

Pastor Bens sermon is always in line with what the aLord wants said to the church family…Delsie….my wife for 56 yrs chats with a friend in the east coast area…The lady opened up to Del about her troubles..Delsie told her to listen to pastors message….In her words .the message was EXACTLY what she needed to hear…In her words “ that message about why prayer doesn’t work” then she said IT SAVED HER LIFE !!!! Pastor Ben…..the message given us this last Saturday has brought me perfect clarity in the realm of prayer. It caused me to re-examine my life. While I am in the midst of constant health issues…..I didn’t like what I saw…….so ..in my morning Bible reading and prayer…I experienced the need once again for the Lord to forgive me ….I had the thought It Is TIME to shake off the serpent…like paul did….I am experiencing fresh forgiveness and a Bright outlook in my relationship with our wonderful GOD!!!!
