    Embiid should take notes. This is what your Star needs to do when it's game 7. Allen Iverson was special and the definition of clutch. Best times of my life growing up. And I can't believe how much more physical the game was then. An aging Mutombo was battling for every Offensive & Defensive rebound. We could only wish Joel Embiid had that grit. Time flies!

    An absolute legend, icon and role model that never gave up, despite not having a ring - He is one of the greatest competitors to ever play this game. Top 30 ever! Harden and Embiid is nowhere near this guy. He knows how to close out a series, and did way more with way less help.

    • @GXprogamer
      @GXprogamer 6 месяцев назад

      I think everyone puts Harden above AI
      AI has only 1 conf finals appearance + he missed 6 playoffs
      Harden has 4 conf finals appearances and he never missed the playoffs
      I love AI aswell, but im just being realistic

    • @greyklopstock7155
      @greyklopstock7155 5 месяцев назад +1

      @@GXprogamernot to mention AI is the furthest thing to a "role model" when it comes to being a responsible player and teammate. He skipped practice, he refused to listen to coaches including Larry Brown who left and won a ring in Detroit, he refused to defer when he got old, and when asked to come off the bench, the man whined about it to the media and quit professional basketball because he wouldn't set aside his ego for the good of the team.

      @VickHushpuppy215 9 месяцев назад

      Y’all really let the media convince y’all that a team achievement like a championship has something to do with ranking players individually. Only owners & fans care about championships I worked with nba players 98.5% of em only care about money & stats, that championship chasing is for a select few they act is if a ring is important to em because if the participants don’t care about the end result why would the fans? but pound for pound skill for skill the Fact is A.I ring or not is a top 10 all time player and he never cried & complained about his teammates always played hard every game even when he was injured

    • @greyklopstock7155
      @greyklopstock7155 5 месяцев назад

      @@VickHushpuppy215ummm, players care about freaking championships are you high? All Shaq talks about is g14 classification, all MJ does is bring up his rings, the only people that think championships don't matter are losers who were never good enough or too egotistical to play with their team to go get one. AI belongs nowhere near the top 20, much less the top 10. In no particular order, hell, not even counting bigs:
      MJ
      Kobe
      Steph Curry
      LeBron
      Wade
      KD
      Harden
      Westbrook
      Oscar Robertson
      Bird
      Magic
      ALL those guys are unquestionably better than Iverson. That's 11 perimeter players, not even bigs, who are better than AI. Only two don't have rings, and those guys have an MVP and are somehow more efficient than Iverson (which is crazy to say regarding Westbrook). Not saying he can't be your favorite player, but I hate when people just completely devalue winning like it's not the entire point of playing the game. You ask MJ, you ask LeBron, you asked Kobe "why do you play?" They're not gonna say "to get buckets" or whatever, they're gonna say "I play to win championships." Again, AI can be your favorite player, but don't even think for a second players don't give a shit about winning championships. Go ask AI if he'd trade winning MVP for winning a ring, he'd probably say yes. If he doesn't, then I'm glad he didn't win cause he wouldn't be worthy of it. Every player should be willing to sacrifice individual stuff for team success. That's why you have teammates.

      Is he gonna start passing the ball and playing defense just cause he's taller? Cause Harden is 6'5" and that brother plays zero despite having a 6'10" wingspan. A 6'6" ball stopper who doesn't defend is the same as a 5'9" ball stopper who doesn't defend as far as I'm concerned
