I must confess that I failed as a spouse. Regrettably, my marital relationship lacked the necessary elements for effective communication and problem-solving. As a result, I find myself in the unfortunate situation of going through a divorce. I lost my best friend & family. Nevertheless, I really enjoy your videos & wish I found them earlier. They truly impress me with their context, values, and focus on God. I plan to continue watch even tho I can’t implement the lessons right now but I’m not afraid to use it for personal growth & reflect back on these lessons in my next chapter. Thanks again 🙏🏼
I know firsthand generally what you're going through, though probably for different underlying reasons; still definitely my fault. Incidentally my state is no-fault divorce as well.
I appreciate the delineation of her prescribing a conservative set of values while not necessarily being about faith.
I can sadly identify with most of these reasons in my own failed marriage. Hindsight SUCKS, but the Lord has taught me so much since then first and foremost through His Word, and then through sources like Fierce Family and Gary Thomas and a few others.
