This is my problem with so many artists in games: they treat a product intended to be sold to the masses as personal vanity projects and in the end hurt not only the bottom line, but others involved in the project just wanting to make a good product and money.
Devs should focus on making a game that People will like first and foremost. Having a subtle message in a well written Story WILL NEVER BE THE SAME AS plastering obnoxious Agenda all over it.

I started boycotting all new games with a few rare exceptions in 2020. At this point the gaming industry needs to completely collapse to be saved. I plan on continuing this boycott as long as it takes, even for life if needed. I had Avowed wish listed on Steam because I loved PoE, PoE2 and New Vegas. But after all of this stuff this game is now banished to the shadow realm for me. It comes out near KCD2 and Monster Hunter anyways - so I'd rather play those.
