- Epson supposedly had a burned up lamp connector.Turned out to have a totally different and easy to repair issue. This shows how maintenance is important. Music is from Lock Stock and 2 Smoking Barrels sound track. I don't own the music rights, but they jam.
I have an Epson Powerlite 2040 that will not display images any longer through HDMI. The receiver it was connected to also stopped working using HDMI. Believe a surge hit it and the only thing downstream was the projector that was connected via HDMI. Any idea what I should replace...an HDMI board? All other outputs work fine.
I have a epson powerlite x12 and my replacement lamp i just got today became extremely hot melting together on the contacts and burned a hole in the bottom of my projector!!! 😡😡😡 could it be fixed???
Looking for some help please, Ive have a Epson tw6000 from new for about 10 years. It hasnt seen a lot of use in fact the lamp hours is circa 1200. It has never skipped a beat over the years until last week. The room in question has recently become my home office so the projector started to see some more action and was working fine for over 6 hours at time. Then the problems occurred, The projector has started to cut out within 30-300 seconds of turning on. At this point the fans go into overdrive suggesting it has overheated, this is not the case. As well as this the lamp indicator started to flash red and the projection cuts out completely.
I have a Epson Home Cinema 3500. There's a blueish discoloration that appears on the left side of the picture and on the bottom righthand corner. The thing is , it only really shows while grey images are being displayed (grey backgrounds, black and white movies or concrete/ground images). Do you know what this could be?
@FixitFrankv I have an epson 6020 with a line going down the right side on some scenes. In all blue screen , no line all green screen no line, all red screen black line. Does that mean the red ribbon cable is damaged or should I try to reseat the connection?
Hello! I have an Epson powerlite 6110i that I just bought online and everything works great except everything has a green tint to it. When I set the default background to black, it becomes a darkish green. I've done some research and it looks like one culprit could be the green polarizer going bad. Could you think of anything else that could cause this? Also how hard of a fix would that be, would it even be worth fixing? Thank you so much!!
Hey been watching a few of your videos and had a quick question, my ballast wont ignite but it is running at the right voltage. It will click twice at about 20-50 volts then it runs at 190v instead of firing around 400v, what component on the ballast board would cause the initial ignite to be so weak?
Not sure if your still paying attention to this video, but I wonder if you could help? I have an Epson EB-S31, it won't power up, at all. Dead. I've checked fuses etc and tested power is going to the board. There's a fuse on the board, tested that. I think the bulb is dead as I did a continuity test and got no reading. But I read that even if the build is dead I should still get power and LEDs telling me the bulb is dead. But like I say, nothing, nada, zilch. Any ideas? Thank you.

nice video u got here.. at least gave the the image of what I will see when I opened mine... btw, do u hv any thought if the projector started as normal as it should, but after an hour it will started to become lot yellow than it should.. n it will leave somekind of text mark at it's subtitle area??
Hey Frank! I need some advice. I have an epson ex5220, usually has an xbox plugged in but I plugged a chromecast in for the superbowl and ever since unplugging the chromecase and plugging the xbox back in it now says NO SIGNAL. I've tried a different HDMI cord as well as a different device (DVD player) to no avail. What did I do? Help
My epson powerlite 95 was dropped and pix still works perfect accept it won’t display blue images anymore do you know how I can repair?THANK YOU
Hello. I am trying to fix an EPSON EMP-7300. I was wondering if you could help. It turns on. Light bulb is bright and fine. Image is nice and sharp except that every item has a shadow on its left. This happens even when I'm looking at the menus. So it's not coming from the input line. I opened it up and I was looking for a visible sign of damage on the circuitry, but I haven't found anything yet. Where would you look and what would you replace to fix this problem? I appreciate your input. Thanks.
I have an EX3220. Images are sharp and bright but missing colour spectrum because they are coming up greenish.

Hi, I had same problem with my epson ex71 projector. I see power light is orange solid when I plug in. No other functions are enabled. No fan and No lamp are starting up. Tried to unlock thru control panel by pressing and hold down enter button for 10 seconds. Please assist me.
