Xilivian4560 I can't believe I'm even wasting my time replying to your dumb comment. I simply made an inference based on the video I watched. Pete said "That's interesting" two times during the episode. One for the oyster and one for the seafood gumbo. Once he tasted the seafood gumbo, he said "that's interesting" and put it down, he then gave the camera a weird look and by the end of the meal, he finished everything BUT one thing. Can you guess what that one thing was? Yep, the seafood gumbo. So to me, "that's interesting" meant that he didn't like the food and he was just being polite. I did not knock the food, I was just stating what I think he felt. You're right, it could be amazing for all I know. So if making an inference based on reason is being a 7 year old, then I don't know what's wrong with you.

I'm from New Orleans and I can tell you , Crawfish seafood is actually really delicious. You should definitely try it if you ever visit the city . I can normally eat at most 25 pounds of crawfish myself . And that's average

Brian Cox You can't have a show on the food network when the way you describe the food you are eating is by saying things like "that was really good" and "spicy" and "interesting". How does that help anyone imagine what it tastes like? I love Pete's videos, but I do not understand why he has a show. His personality is pretty bland, at least in this setting.

Pete, as a born & raised New Orleans resident, I can honestly say that you portrayed our city more accurately than any of those BS travel shows. You took the time to talk to the locals & find the locations with the real authentic fat city food, not tourist traps like most shows exhibit. bravo man, truly an enjoyable watch.

It is a must see place before you die. There are many other places with great attributes but none like New Orleans. I think this is so because over the centuries the cultures of New Orleans co-mingled and created hard to duplicate combinations.

Been to "NAWLINS" several times with my late wife. You walked right past the hotel where we stayed. Cafe Du Monde was always a must and while my wife was not big on them at all, a big plate of crawfish was always high on my list.
