20:32 could be worse. While playing as the ottomans I had to ally mantua who got a PU over France and fight russians for them so there wouldn't be a Russo-Frankish union. I was a tech behind so Russians had like 2 more morale than me. I won, but it was painful and I never want to have to do it again.

Definitely would be nice to see this campaign continued further, just since it's really *really* fucking nice with the PU over Castille as well, making this practically a Western European Empire rather than just merely an Angevin Empire. Also, if you ever want to do a bit of a painful challenge, I would suggest doing a run of the CK2 WTWSMS mod (basically the CK2 version of the Fallen Eagle mod) and try to not only survive but also thrive as Shaytana Anicetus in Tingis. You might be asking "What's so interesting about Shaytana Anicetus?" and the answer is simple: this countess is the only starting character on the entire map with the latin solar faith, which becomes the *Sol Invictus* faith upon reformation. Alongside that, besides being the only character that can continue the legacy of Aurelian at game start, you also have obviously the only latin solar county in the world, and are surrounded by a larger native african realm, with the seas at your back, having to deal with getting independence from your liege in Septem as well while dealing with the native africans that want to push you into the sea.
I'm too awful at this game to do any of this stuff myself so I've gotta live it through you. Please continue this series and show off as many nations as possible with this mod. It's been such a treat to see
I remember the first time I introduced an Heir... AI Throws a temper tantrum and get's a Force PU CB and basically ruins your alliances. Feels bad man.
I think it's really a missed opportunity, that they didn't add a way to form the Angevin Empire in the base game with Rule Britannia. I mean, wouldn't it be nice, if you could just, like in that mod, decide, which path you wanna go? For example if you go Angevin, you don't get that much colonial buffs and if you go Great Britain you will maybe abandon all your mainland Europe provinces. I really hope they'll put something like this into EU5
as for Portugal becoming domineering ive seen the AI being domineering for no given reason a lot recently, like recently i was playing byzantium, at that point i was number 2 great power, massive army, loads of development, no introduced heir, and for some reason serbia who was a 2 province minor with no allies and no kosovo goldmine had a domineering atitude and it stayed domineering for the next 10+ years
sometimes if you had a old dude and no heir for a while and a natural heir pops out that has a pretty weak claim to throne it makes them domineering, and legitimacy effects that as well. Especially if same family. or if the that dude is capable of claiming throne.
I don't think vassals have changed since their inception into the game. If your vassal AI is broken, then you'll just want to save and reload, and that should fix the issue, though.
I don't know if you know this, but if you have a parliament and it gives you know good options for a debate, you can wait a month and it will reroll the debate items.
Hi Laith, I've never seen you play around with Culture Conversion and was thinking, if you could make a video or two with a nation that has the strongest buffs in this aspect and try to convert as much territory as you can. From what I've read, Majapahit, Sunda and Khmer are best for it, but maybe you'll find a better country to do it with.
My best run as England, started out with me getting a PU over Castile in the first 3 years of the game... that made for a pretty easy French PU and world conquest.
