Had the Super Sweet. Was killer but added too much gain for what I needed so I sold it. I have just ordered a super clean I have an SP comp too. Xotic Make Great stuff, been using them for 10 years plus
I run my Super Sweet through my effects loop, with the gain up just a touch. It has completely changed my tone, for the better. Definitely gonna try the Super Clean, eventually, but the Super Sweet is ALWAYS on now.
Got the Super Clean when it first came out These things have more EQ options than most of the stuff out there They also have the mojo chip that made a certain pedal famous Good stuff 👍 So great for getting your fuzz to sound great w those eq options
Hi Michael, thanks for your explanation and I am also in love with those pedals. So I put that behind my compressor and then to my overdrive then distortion on my pedalboard? Best regards
Sounds killer. Love the super clean to boost the signal and add body without adding gain but that delay was what caught my ear lol anybody know what he was using for delay and amp.
Guys BEWARE..... I found a fault with the Xotic Super Sweet and Super Clean pedals. There are 4 micro dip switches on the Side of the pedals. If you activate the bass boost micro dip switch there is a nasty crackle if you turn the gain knob up or down. Can't be right..... Very Disappointing with what should be quality gear... I've contacted the UK dealer I bought both pedals through. Awaiting response.. 😮
Like a half inch at the 15th fret. Jacking the action really does make a huge diff,- why his sound has that broad, harmonic, clarity,- but it's a b#tch getting used to feel wise.Probably not quite so extreme, but higher coming out of the nut than is standard.I use several drop tunings, and it's almost a necessity.
@@markferguson3745 That high nut thing is the worst for me, like a slide guitar. But it does change the guitar's "ring". My problem with high action is the intonation. somehow Michael escapes this.
Experiment, especially with the mix knob. After is going to not add to the gain level, but before has more of the traditional feel and bite. The mix makes happy mediums possible, but I've long preferred stacking dirty to clean( after) Fuzz/ Dist/ Drive/ Boost-, with the comp after, to avoid oversaturation.Obviously, it depends on what you're going for.
Bangin. Just discovered Xotic and love it. The SL Drive looks like an early 90s gentleman’s club.
I love to hear this man play

Same here. Gain past 7 was way too loud for everything.
First time watching, liked and subscribed before your intro finished!!🔥🔥🔥
Really Great Job Man 🎸🎶🎸

Yes Yes Yes I've been doing that in the loop of my old Tonemaster clean channel for quite a while One less pedal out front too ☺️
Michael always throws some cool licks in these videos! 👦🏻
Wow... this is really something.
I've been using an EP in my loop for a while Recently got the Super Clean to preserve my TX Ranger tones for the solo boost and clean tones

If Ron White and Steve Bannon had a lovechild...
🤣

Okay you’ve convinced me....super sweet here I come!
Great player, great demo.
Man this is a GREAT VIDEO!! Major Kudos!!! Which Synergy Module are you using??

Awesome guys!!! Great demo!!
Snapping up a Super Clean now! :)
I'm just trying to understand if the EQ is active along with the buffer when pedal is disengaged? Or is it only giving eq treatment when engaged?
Me too!
It's the 'mastered' button
Very intrigued, but I have a Drybell 67 (always on) on my board now. Would having one of these always on be redundant? Thanks
Putting the Super Clean w the Drybell would sound great Plus you wouldn't have to max out the Rangemaster quality of it I would think Good question
The Unit67 is a great awesome pedal. In front or at the end.
@@adhaskym.a9536 I like it in front with a Super Clean at the end for a solo boost. Thanks
That may be fattest/best dirty sound on a telecaster I’ve ever heard

He's really famous for a certain delay patch in the old Eventide H3000 unit. Check out Pete and Tim's Guitar show featuring him.

Yes, it does the thing you might call "louder" 😉 Big xotic fan btw
This guy looks like ron White's brother
Killlllllller as usual!!! Look at that action man! Getting dizzy from the height.
