Loved watching your Upheaval Barb. As a fellow Barb myself, I’m running an overpower Barb. However there are a few differences. I’m running a leap quake Barb with upheaval. Because of that, I run furious upheaval and leap itself is a pretty good generator. Another difference is I’m using Godslayer crown, love the multiplier against elites and bosses, however I can see where heir of perdition would be better. For Ubers, I’m using Doombringer and Ring of Starless Skies although I am actively looking for a grandfather. Because I’m using leap, I’m using a combination of giant stride and perpetual stomping. Now as far as how I make enemies vulnerable, I use ground stomp and also kick.
Thx for the build. I use verathiel blade for spend resource with Bash. If use this sword you active lot of multiplier and on 2 weapon use a mace with bash cleave and all hits are overpowered . "charge" the hit with red furor ring, ring of starless skies, passive of upheavel and overpowered bash and the build work very good!
I like that but is literally death blow with a different name and wider cone. what I mean is: it plays the same. so when they eventually rework the barbs core skills I wish that they envision a diffent play pattern for every skill and don't just increase their damage. e.g. upheaval could be the fire dot build. hota could be the weapon swap overpower build. deathblow would remain the banished lords overpower build. rend can be simply a "brawler rend" where you don't cast rend but spam brawler skills. they just need to remove the 1sec cooldown from the ring of the ravenous. WW can stay the dust devil spawner but I'd like them to change it so that WW can deal damage in a wind-up like fashion, such as accumulating charges when channeling and accumulating them faster with more attack speed to release them to deal massive damage when you stop spinning for a sec to cast another skill. but not so much that the dust devils become obsolete. I could go on but you get the idea, just make the uniques that are meant to be used with a skill not only usable but the best way to play that skill while giving us easier to build option that are strong enough and can be used to grind our way to the best version of it.
Yes! I love this idea and agree with you. That would be a massive rework but would be worth it. I find that alot of skills use the same aspects and uniques, just depends if it's a core skill or a basic skill. Real build diversity as you explained would be a lot of fun and keep the game fresh.
Can u do a dot upheavel (damage over time). xfals ring has decent state and the lucky hit aspect is even better. Im using hell hammer and it could stack with strength.but when u add fists of fate xfals would proke and gain 1 to 300 dmg. I would use shroud of false death because the 1 to all passives. Ugly bastard helm would help because the fire dmg,but idk what i should put on skill tree and paragon.but i think using shattered vow would help alot because we should be berserking all the time because of unconstrained. And btw my hell hammer and xfals are both 4ga and if u dont know whwt xfals is its the ring with damage over time
I love the barb content I was playing your flay build until I saw the afk barb and then I switched to that to have 0 effort bossing there's so many boss materials dropping me and my partner ran like 100 bosses the other night.
I hope barb gets some buffs! I'm hopeful that we will atleast get some sort of buff mid season. Spiritborn is a catch 22, ppl will complain either way if you nerf or leave it, I'm curious to see what they do with it for mid season.
I’m having a hard time hitting t4 on barb, my armor is like 800 and my resistance are around 60% not getting good gear drops and idk how else to get there.
Going from T3 to T4 is rough, its the toughest jump. Find a party and do bosses for unique items. Uniques will help the resistances and then you can put skulls in armor, also use potions. The paragon board can also give you armor and resistances as well. I had to regear my character to hit T4
@ thanks for the tips, I’m in T4 now on my barb. I partied up with some random spirit borns to do hordes and they just one shot everything while I run around making tornados from my earthquakes 😂😂

Nice, I updated Upheaval and like the whirlwind Upheaval combo best, but the only way to make enemies vulnerable is pressure point

I always look for somebody who make that build, and even more now with the new DOT Uber Spear.
