I have watched many author tube videos of indie authors who struggle with getting their books wide, navigate listing problems, and anguish over pre-order failures. Watching this video has SOLD me on using Draft 2 Digital in the future. I'm not ready to publish yet, but seeing how much this company offers makes me look forward to the process, not dread it. Question: can authors get copies to preview and proofread for themselves?
Hi Beth - sorry I didn't see this question sooner. Yes, for print copies, there is an entire author copy order process (and, unlike KDP, they don't come with that ugly "proof copy" banner that goes across the cover, spine, and back cover about 3/4 of the way up.). And while it's always nice to have a beautiful copy of the book in hand for final proofing, I've saved a bit of time and money as an author and just printed the PDF for that final proofing read - amazing how much you catch on paper that all the editorial passes can miss in a Word document. ;)
