I got excited at the intro for a moment, I thought we were finally getting a pure Ram Dass video/audio, where it's just him talking. It's still a Ram Dass and friends video/audio. This is unfortunately why I end up on a bootleg channel where I can listen to Ram Dass for hours with no interruption. I want to thank everyone involved for uploading more Ram Dass, it is a blessing!
I recently found I'm a Universalist. I came to Love Mindfullness years ago. As such, I just can't thank you enough for all this compassion and care on teh interwebs
Ah, for those complaining that there is speaking before it comes to Ram Dass, I want to say I agree. I also want to say to the people creating it that Ram Dass, if nothing else, has energy. Even in his old age, when he speaks, it is with passion, compassion, it's heartfelt and energetic. The introductions here have a very "falling asleep to NPR" vibe. You may have the same message, but you're trying to give people wisdom in a very different format than the one they came for. I think Ram Dass would say that maybe you should have a cup or two of coffee before you guys get on the mic, if you want the complaints would go away. 😂 Still much love, and thank you.
This comment is to peacefully protest the gatekeeping of RD’s lectures. Common complaints as elucidated by the community on the Ram Dass subreddit are as follows. Removal of content, privatizing/licensing out content, copyright striking others who post content without replacing what was removed or providing another means to access the content. Restriction of what is released, cutting and editing pieces of full lectures and not releasing the full lectures themselves. Putting a paywall in place that provides access to still limited content. Access to content is overall severely limited compared to just a year or two ago.
It's so amazing that Ram Dass's entire experience was India based and this "Jacky" woman is on and on about how this "fellowship" is timed so "perfectly" for US and UK audience. Dude?!? Theres also India and 190 other countries. Jesus man, how parochial are your perspectives ?
Agreed. You are absolutely right, the world is so much bigger. Thanks for bringing the bigger awareness to the conversation! Regarding the virtual fellowships time slots, we are simply limited on the amount of time available to host, so right now we are able to hit the time zones where we have the most listenership. But luckily, we spend time supporting 90+ local satsangs around the world, including ones in Delhi, Cameroon, Lebanon, Peru and more.
@@jacquelyndobrinska7787 Good. Listenership won't increase if you limit virtual fellowships to UK alone. Open it up to other geographies. Don't follow the RUclips formula, showing same content to those who consume it the most. Its a recipe for disaster and a highly narrow world-view.
Oh, the irony of these programs sharing digital space is thick: On this program, Ram Dass talking about a spiritual path that is all about getting beyond the ego/identity/persona, and then a bunch of programs focused completely on identity via woke culture!! Lol..
Suggestion @jacquelyndobrinska7787 How about considering inserting the voice of Baba Ram Bass saying "Be heard now." a few times .. after your intros so we can really hear his voice.. preparation (even if it's him in his aging voice, gently reminds us, we all get old and die..) and - His calling to us to... Be here now. Thank you all for your work at the Be Here Now Network. 🙏
8:50 if you're just here for Ram Dass
Yes, unfortunately I am, Thanks 🙏
I feel blessed by having gotten to see/hear him in a college class in the 70's/changed my perspective.
Namaste to all

Yes, get a bit excited. The plan is for the introductions to be 2-3 minute from now on. So definitely a shift.
I skipped the other guys - always do
I skipped this comment
I skipped the intro for good reason too.

To be able to study all religions and see the truth behind all of them is beautiful.
We try. After a few years therein, I think one could handle teaching comparitive religion in CC, lol. HF. @@bullsdeepdish6982

Would be nice only uploading Ram Dass, no introduction please.

She was just observing that it’s relevant to the curriculum she was born into. Noticing one is not denigrating another. Don’t get uptight baby!
Ah, so.
