  • Mong Kok is the ultimate haven for the thrifty fashionista. , a famous shopping destination for locals and tourists alike. Street markets are filled to the brim with all sorts of shoppers' items like shoes and bags. Today on a weekend, we're touring the famous sneakers street (Fa Yuen Street), which is an entire stretch with rows of botiques selling branded shoes. Next I will take you to the ladies market (Tung Choi Street), a long street with stalls offering a wide range of different fashion items, accessories, gadgets and gimicks.     It’s nice to join the local residents and strolling around . Enjoy a cup of famous milk-tea / coffee and a snack of donuts or famous HongKong buns . It’s one of such enjoyments one could do in this wonderful city of Hong Kong . Happy traveling . ❤ 👍 🙂

    I saw you were using gimbal and iphone to take this video. But it was interesting why didn't saleman or staffs stop you when you went into the shops and shopping malls.

      I think its become normal for them to see people taking photos / videos of places. I try not to linger to long so I don't make people uncomfortable. Plus in a way, it helps promote their stores in a way

      I think collectively, Mong kok is starting to look healthy again after the lifting of mask mandate a few weeks back. Definitely more tourists now 😉

    Another helpful vlog for us, 1st time travellers. Will try this place for our 3rd day itinerary before heading to airport.... ok ba to shop ng 8am to 12noon lang?

      I'm glad to help! 😊. ladies' market opens at 1030am so I suggest you visit that first, then sneaker street stores open at 11am so you will have 1 hour shopping window, short but doable. Good luck!!

    one of the things i really like in hong kong aside from the usual shopping, dining and tour experience is i never saw a single rat and i wonder how in the world does that happen.

      as a resident, I can tell you there are rats but theyre very cooperative, they only show up in the wee hours 😂
