Incredible Steve. I started filming skateboard with my friends and with the evolution of DSLR cameras being able to record and photograph, I started to become more interested in photography. For some years I worked with film production, but I felt exactly what you say in this video, about always being inside a place, when in fact I wanted to explore the world, something that photographing and filming skateboarding has always taught me, because in skateboarding we go out to recording tricks through the streets, we travel to look for interesting places to record and photograph. I have always loved being on the streets, the feeling of freedom and the experience with other people and cultures. So a few years ago I decided to quit everything, left Brasil and went to live in Portugal, working in any kind of job that could support me, being able to save some money to start the journey in Europe and then go to Asia and wherever life takes me. This video shows how much your ideas match what I feel since I was a child too. Thanks for inspiraton Steve. Guihermo Guillis.
I wish they still made film for the Kodak Instamatic, I’ve a few of them and would love to be able to try them out, hoping to get the full collection without actively looking for them.
