Of course, thanks for your job. Great job👍 Your teaching is so light for understanding. I'm going to listen to you in the future.

Interesting. Your effort to see things from the point of view of a learner surely is valuable. I guess many learners will appreciate. Personally, I would add something that has worked for me since I started to learn English seriously. It all turns around having goals and assessing constantly whether we are on the right path or if we are wasting our time. Learning a second language is not, it seems to me, a hunter-gatherer thing picking here and there food randomly. It's more of a farmer thing. I'm particular struck by this fact : there is a time to prepare the soil, a time to sow, a time to prune, a time to yield, a time to stock, a time to sell. You know something about flower growing. You surely understand what I mean to say. Anyway, congrats for your outstanding online-teaching work. It's always a pleasure to follow you on RUclips. By the way, I'm 75, I'm retired and I still learn and practice English, for it is to me like an additional large window over the world.

@@LearnEnglishwithBobtheCanadian Thank you for your kind comment. I agree, fun is a major component of learning. That's why I don't do planning or any mechanical approach of that sort. Mine has more to do with playing or gaming and keeping motivation high has been one of my key goals. What you successfully do as a teacher, I do as a learner. 🙂.

Likewise, the English language. I will learn the language through listening and reading, and the English language is easy. Very compared to Arabic

    Dear Bob !
Thanks for all of your contributions.
There are a lots of hints in it for learn a better English as
an alian (means a not native English speaker).
My native language is the "slang spoken German" of South Austria. Later, the teachers in school tried to teach me a German of high.
Now I am over 50 years old, and never was in Great Britain, USA, or other countries where English is the language of the country.
Oh, it would be so fine if I would be able to visit one of this countries and to speak with the people over there.
This would be the top challenge and pleasure I look forward.
And once we can interchange the visions, the provisions, the relevations of our lives.

I started to listen to music in English way before I started to learn the language itself, yes, it helped a lot. But the real game changer became an English tutor, apart from feedback they gave me two things I needed the most accountability and structure.
Unfortunately, apps don't work for me unless it's dictionary apps. I get bored with them quite easily
Instead of using grammar books I like to take grammar quizzes on RUclips
Now when I don't take classes anymore I don't have a speaking partner because for me, as a squared introvert (when introversy multiplied by itself) is petty difficult to communicate with strangers

We say that the hangman who hangs men ( I think of execution in the middle ages) gets hanged sometimes. This would happen only if you started learning English... When I started learning English I listened a lot of music in English and watched a lot of music videos and interviews. I understood better and better - but not only that. I used to listen interviews with Joe Perry the guitarist of Aerosmith and Splash and Axl of Guns N'Roses. I learned to distinguish the Massachusetts's accent of Joe Perry. I got to that level when I started to understand the English words without knowing their actual meanings. Later on I experienced this in spoken English too. Words came up in the right time and knew their meanings without learning them. Thanks for the video. ❤😂❤😂
