- Figured out the green wire! And some other things while wrapping up the electrical side of things before disconnecting the battery and tearing down the primary to, hopefully, fix the oil leak…
Don't know what your doing but keep doing it, I'm finding these videos addictive and I'm looking forward to catching new ones, wish I had the space for a second bike as this make me want a older Harley to work on
Great to see someone explaining some wiring in a simple and understandable way. Its nice to hear the whole thought process and see what you go through.
Thank you 🙏
This entire bike resurrection has captivated me. Really enjoying this. There is nothing I dont like about this bike.
Love the older decals. Most...😂 cheers
your vidoes are as so underrated, its just need some clickbaits tricks and am sure they will never regret clicking, keep it up
Nice Work 👌👍🤘
The Gambino crime family harley is back, my favorite youtube harley. That bike is gangster ❤
that is the area we are in - nice to see some familiar faces from the neighborhood
I haven't lived in New York for 50 years. I could not imagine not being able to ride any of my motorcycles only part of the year. Maybe that bike will be your winter bike. I just shut her at the thought of shoveling all that snow.
@@frankmarkovcijr5459 Snow in NYC is not really a thing like they make it seem. It's a fabricated event where 1cm falls and the city will toss salt all over the roads ruining cars, bikes, clothes, shoes, cars. I'm from Europe where you would go to school in 12 inch snow. Here it hardly falls to even 4 inches.
@@IISourAyyII when I was a kid in New York in the seventies you had waist deep snow to have to make your way through unless someone shovel the sidewalk. I never saw Cash money outside of Christmas and birthdays except during snow season when people will give you $5 to shovel off the driveway and the sidewalk in front of the house.
❤️🇮🇹
Loving the video updates and the work you're doing....
Great videos, keep them coming John from across the pond in the UK.😁
I have no experience working on any kind of bikes, but your content is easy to follow, easy understand. Keep it up! This is some good stuff.
was going to say, all this time (since you started the whole series) and not a single time were the mirrors cleaned lol. Great work. your accent makes me miss NY... Keep on keeping on
Thank you! I’m keeping those original mirrors I’m sure they have potential for something 🤣🤣🤣
Was watching your channel and I saw something about you talking about your bag lights? I have the same bike, one year older...Shovelhead. Anyway, I have "Blue Dots" in all my rear lenses, and Man! It looks SO BADASSED!!! Just a thought. Something you might wanna look into...Just SAYIN'.....
Love the vids man! I had a 84 2 tone tan/beige FLHT. Now i have a 89 FLHS. Love the old EVOs. Treat them rights and they run forever.
What a great channel to just randomly find. Relaxing and informing vids
Thank you 🙏
The only good thing that came out of covid was i found this channel when i was ill . Looks a whole lot better with the new control set up its taking shape
Love your work
👏
You're giving that bike some serious love! You'll never be able to part with it afterwards. Been there done that...
Wow, nice and calm working on the bike with a cup of coffee on the work bench! That's what I do with the only difference is I do a lot of swearing!
I have my moments too 😂 🤬
Great job and vid as always!
Awesome series man keep it up. Thinking of doing something similar in the future.
Great wiring job!
Good work I see you do lots of research.
Nice work
Well done so far and wiring can be a heal headache
You're going to be a H.D. master mechanic before it's over with.
😳
Making it your own and not following a pattern, can't be any better than that.
💯
Amazing, I love it
Jam up job!!! 👍🏼
Crazy how your videos popped up at this time. My dad hasn't been able to ride for a few years so he sold his 03 Electra glide but couldn't part with his 85 your glide. Well he decided I should have it so I'm now plunking through a gradual part by part rebuild similar to you. I won't have it running for a few months due to time constraints but it's so much more fun rebuilding an old bike compared to anything on the new bikes. Good luck on your project and keep the videos coming. Hopefully you find all the problems before I do so it's an easier fix for me! Haha!
That’s awesome to keep your dad’s bike on the road, hopefully my trials and tribulations can help with your rebuild! Good luck! 👍🏻
Back to back uploads, let's go!
This bike is going to be awesome when it’s done!
Thanks for the shout out cuz! 🇮🇹💪
👏 🇮🇹
Round 2! Green wire!
It's Vin Diesel! I knew it!
🤣
I was beginning to wonder if the mirrors were censored to not show your reflection 😅
🤣
First appearance in person of the channel author) [in the mirror]
😉
You might as well detail it little by little as you go along ,fantastic it will be
😊
Another upload! Spoiling us
this harley is lookn too cold 😎
👏
There is an mug of coffee on the trailer... DRINK THE COFFEE 😤
@@Hotbulldozer 🤣 I do I do! In fact probably too much coffee! ☕️ 😎
You can order those mirrors from lowbrow
wow face reveal looking great
😮 😬
Probably uses DOT 5 too
I knew there was something wrong with the Mirrors
That'll do lol
what new controls did you use? you have part numbers?
They are 2007+ controls that work on 1996 and up (to around 2013 or so), Harley part number 70239-07
Thanks man.
Dim headlights? Traditional headlight bulbs get dimmer with age and hours. Just replace it.
Good point! Maybe some daynakers 🤔
U say backorder from Harley? I don't buy shit from Harley anymore, everything is aftermarket or used from an individual. Harley corporate can suck it!!!!
Agreed normally 1000% but I’m putting these on the ‘96 Fatboy and the bike is all built with Harley parts from back in the day so I’m trying to stay true to the previous owner of that bike
Can you not just put a new piece of mirror glass in your original mirrors?
Maybe, but I wanted to go with the round style like the FatBoy, just personal preference 👍🏻
Ahh that makes sense then. I was just keeping about you trying to keep the patina. Love your videos. Keep them coming!
