John Milton, Paradise Lost, Book 9

This lecture picks up where the last concluded, with Adam and Eve having parted ways and Satan finding Eve alone. I look at some of the consequences of Milton's choice to separate the pair, as well as observing the magnificent poetic touches that mark the passage.
