- The complexities of love are explored as the strength of a young couple's relationship and devotion to one another is tested by forces beyond their control in the romantic drama Dear John. Based on the best selling novel by Nicholas Sparks (The Notebook), the film stars Channing Tatum as John and Amanda Seyfried as Savannah. John and Savannah come from different worlds, but through a chance encounter the pair fall instantly in love. They have two wonderful weeks together, but John, a soldier for the U.S. army, must return for his tour of duty. The couple promise to write to each other and through this continuous stream of letters, their love blossoms even more.
Tribute's Bonnie Laufer spoke with Channing Tatum and Amanda Seyfried about the last movie that really made them cry, why the art of letter writing is almost dead, and how to get through shooting embarrassing love scenes.

I totally agree! If Channing was not married to Jenna that time he and amanda would probably look good! But you know things happen but I love the couple sm!

I actually did a massage on her. She is the most normal wonderful person. We even hung out for an HR afterwards and just talked. I didn't even recognize her in the beginning. Really a class act wonderful human being. Really great sense of humor too. Most easy going celebraty I've ever met
