At 4:22, it seemed that Jack gave another imply about his old band. It's not an animosity joke I don't think. That's only between Barnes, Alex and Paul.
I think he got tired of them, and not just the "grind". And it seems he felt bad for Barnes during the corpsegrinder days. So, after watching Centuries of Torment a million times, it's possible Alex and Paul were being "bossbullies" (like glen benton with Ralph) that didn't get recorded on the doc. It showed that Barnes & Barrett were cool. So, no bullying from Barrett. No bullying or criticism seen or mentioned from any crew, or recording people. Metal Blade loved Barnes. Just Paul and Alex because it's only them who mention "personality problems" about Barnes. Jack may have felt the same way at the time, but just musically. I don't see him bullying Barnes ever personally, he's not like that. I don't think SFU and CC will happen specifically because of the animosity that continues between just 3 people that's it. Otherwise, it would have happened years ago without question. I think CC just wanted a singer who could deliver faster, more words during lines and Barnes couldn't provide that. And George could do it no problem. And I understand. It just wasn't Chris's style. And George's stage presence was ominous.
I'm not trying to be a troll with certainty, just the doc says a whole lot.
It even deeply displays a side of Pat O'Brien, of which I'm not really surprised of what he did by the way.
In 1993, CC headlined with Unleashed and Epidemic in Detroit.
An hour before the first band even started, (Epidemic), Barnes was sitting at merch by the bar helping sell the shirts and signing for fans. But he looked bummed out, I mean really bummed out. It looked like he was not going to do the show.
But he still did, and killed it. Another thing I loved that night was when Unleashed did Venom's "Countess Bathory".
I love Killing For Revenge. Thank you Jack!! Chris sounds awesome.
