Prefects and sub-prefects of San Martín denounce pressure | Cuarto Poder | Perú
Nicanor Boluarte, the brother of the president of Peru, is denounced by prefects and sub-prefects of the San Marín region. These officials say they are being forced to fill out registration forms for the Citizens for Peru party, CPP, whose regional coordinator is precisely Nicanor Boluarte. The registration of the party before the National Elections Jury, JNE, takes place with a view to the presidential elections of 2026. The prefects and sub-prefects interviewed accuse the former government official, Griselda Herrera, as the political operator of Nicanor Boluarte, who even requires installments of money. Failure to comply with her requests may result in dismissal from office.
