scream is the least rock of their title tracks. they were trying to appeal more to 'popular' base by mixing in edm, but in general all their songs are very distinctly different since they mash a lot of genres into their music while keeping a core rock base. 'endless night' is more pure hard rock with metal elements. 'deja vu' is another good one to check out since it's so different from what you might expect a title track to be.

I personally recommend, so you can get the over arching story from their songs, is to go in chronological order. I’m just starting to get into their discography myself so those are the more well known tracks but their vocalists are truly a force to reckon with as their live vocals are not much different from the studio recordings & I think that’s definitely noteworthy.

I just saw this and I'll recommend too, besides Dream catcher's tracks, Stray Kids Hellevator and District 9 and F.T.Island, the first it's a kpop idol self formed and self produced group who debuted in 2018, which is heavily based in edm, hip hop, however they're extremely versatile. The songs I recommended I think might be suitable for your taste aaand two of the members (leader Bang Chan or Christopher Bang and Lee Felix, main dancer line) are Aussies. Then F. T. Island is a South Korean not kpop idol group but a krock senior one. They've been active (although I'm not sure if they're still active) for more than 10years, and my fave songs are Take Me Now, Pray and Wild. Amazing reaction tho, I had fun and I'm glad you reacted to this wonderful girls.
Dreamcatcher's debut era songs "Chase Me" and "Good Night" are probably more rock/metal than their newer stuff but you can't beat it. I'm here to humbly request you give G-idle a listen, particularly to watch their music video for "Oh My God" and "Lion" because it's creepy, badass, with some amazing vocals, visuals, and INCREDIBLE rapping. G-idle self-produces everything they make so if you value musicians who make sure they have their hands in everything they make, please give them a watch.

The album (Dystopia: The Tree Of Language) is currently battling it out with Run The Jewels 4 as my favourite album of the year so far. It's not all as heavy, but it's definitely got it's moments and the variation and diversity of sound is incredible - and ALL done so well. You are definitely going to want to check out one of their Japanese releases, "Endless Night". J-Rock group Coldrain laid down the backing track . . . and also, you might wanna have a gander at AleXa's "Bomb (Rock Version)" that she did as a collab with Korean metal legends, Diablo.
For the older adult rockers (meaning over 35 +), I really love Endless Night and Breaking the Wall. Has the metal vibes with beautiful singers and some overtone raps. Gorgeously done! Please check it out!

There's some really good recommendations in the comments for some of their more rock or metal sounding songs as well if that would tickle your fancy. In general though, I hope this helped you guys realize that Kpop isn't really constricted to one genre (that being what Westerners consider to be general "pop") like how you guys seemed to think in your previous reaction. There's a very unique blend of genres, and there's really just something for everyone. Overall though, I hope you guys have fun are able to enjoy your journey into the realm of Kpop!
In kpop there's different concepts in therm of how the group is, like blackpink's concept is Girl Crush. But there's alot more. Twice has a more cuter concept and there's also groups who mixes concepts like Red Velvet
You guys should react to their debut Chase Me and the next MV Good Night. They are a hard rock / pop fusion without the EDM. And they're first two MVs in their 7 MV Nightmare story. They also have a lot of b-sides with metal, rock, and punk fused with pop. It's varied but always works. I think you'll love these girls.

Dreamcatcher's debut era songs "Chase Me" and "Good Night" are probably more rock/metal than their newer stuff but you can't beat it. I'm here to humbly request you give G-idle a listen, particularly to watch their music video for "Oh My God" and "Lion" because it's creepy, badass, with some amazing vocals, visuals, and INCREDIBLE rapping. G-idle self-produces everything they make so if you value musicians who make sure they have their hands in everything they make, please give them a watch.

I always love seeing people react to Dreamcatcher for the first time, because they’re just so uniquely amazing. I really recommend their songs “Piri” and “Déjà Vu.” I also think you guys would enjoy checking out some “k-pop” rock bands (meaning they play instruments), because they are wickedly talented. The album (Dystopia: The Tree Of Language) is currently battling it out with Run The Jewels 4 as my favourite album of the year so far. It's not all as heavy, but it's definitely got it's moments and the variation and diversity of sound is incredible - and ALL done so well.
You are definitely going to want to check out one of their Japanese releases, "Endless Night". J-Rock group Coldrain laid down the backing track . . . and also, you might wanna have a gander at AleXa's "Bomb (Rock Version)" that she did as a collab with Korean metal legends, Diablo.
For the older adult rockers (meaning over 35 +), I really love Endless Night and Breaking the Wall. Has the metal vibes with beautiful singers and some overtone raps. Gorgeously done! Please check it out!

Also yeah this is one of Dreamcatcher's more EDM sounding tracks. There's some really good recommendations in the comments for some of their more rock or metal sounding songs as well if that would tickle your fancy. In general though, I hope this helped you guys realize that Kpop isn't really constricted to one genre (that being what Westerners consider to be general "pop") like how you guys seemed to think in your previous reaction. There's a very unique blend of genres, and there's really just something for everyone. Overall though, I hope you guys have fun are able to enjoy your journey into the realm of Kpop!

In kpop there's different concepts in therm of how the group is, like blackpink's concept is Girl Crush. But there's alot more. Twice has a more cuter concept and there's also groups who mixes concepts like Red Velvet

They also have a lot of b-sides with metal, rock, and punk fused with pop. It's varied but always works. I think you'll love these girls.
