Otherwise, the performance was quite decent give a few shortcomings our NT faced prior to the World Cup whether they were related to the draw, preparations, Spellman's fitness and lack of synergy at the beginning of the WC, or the mental readiness of the team for that event. In hindsight, the team ended the WC on a high by achieving two wins. After re-watching the game against China in the FIBA Asia Cup and noticing the drastic improvement of each Lebanese player this season, I am looking forward to a very much improved NT in the next FIBA Asia Cup especially with a more-than-ready Spellman.
