    How long does the electric generator last you how many washes do you get out of it ?

    With your maintenance clients, do you add a paint protection to their vehicle? I've thought about upping my maintenance prices and Adding ceramic sealant or some type of water beading to make the wash and dry process easier. But as of now, they just get basic cleaning inside and out.. I live in South Georgia Valdosta area.

    I agree with I have people wanting a detail wash every month and expects to charge cheaper doesn’t make sense plus the car is destroyed

    • @Brandinwagstaff

      For sure it makes zero sense when the car is the same dirty as the original Detail. Its a glitch in the system and needs to be corrected. My best advice is to the clients into the $200s for these details.
      I heard guys say they just do a quick job, I dont know how to do that 🤷‍♂️. If something is dirty there is no way around not cleaning that lol.

    I have just started out in Australia my basic detail is $75 for a small car up to $450 for a large car full detail. I think when I quote people they get scared off when I tell them my prices to be honest I think I am to cheap people don't realize the work that go's into bringing their cars back to as new condition not to mention the cost of professional grade chemicals an fuel (Gas) to get to them it all adds up.

    Nah I have maintenance clients monthly and biweekly, I only offer maintenance to people with multiple vehicles and they have set day and times monthly I set a maximum amount of spots available and a wait list to get on maintenance. It’s easy money guaranteed work that’s the upside of maintenance. I only take off $100 from the original full detail price as well. You just got to work it right for it to make sense money and time wise. I have no helper just myself. I am east coast as well so I know those price differences are pretty significant. Solid video here!

    I wouldn’t do maintenance wash until I have another guy running another van and having him only focus on maintenance washes and maybe headlights restoration or maybe I did a detail and I miss a spot that wasn’t brought up at that moment then I can send the other van and take care of that you know stuff like that but it would have to be so busy to justify the other van and worker working those routes

    We have a whole video on the subject, lots of detailers don't know how to price or set proper terms with maintainence clients. Also most dont know how to work profitability and take too long per job. They end up losing money. We make quite a bit on our maintenance clients monthly, but we have the process and operation locked down.

      Yes, this is a very complicated subject but repeat business is essential to the life of a business. So it needs to be figured out. Can you share the title of the video? I’ll definitely watch it. Thank you!

    This man is right I was located in south Florida my business was doing good but I burnt myself out with having those wash packages and it took me away from doing more details and took time away from new clients and personal life

    • @Brandinwagstaff
      @Brandinwagstaff  2 месяца назад +1

      Exactly, clients will work you into the ground and catch you off guard. And All along it just feels like you’re handling your responsibilities. But a closer look it doesn’t make sense, not for high level detailers who make cars look brand new again.

  • @Shane7son

    I agree, but would you spend $300 a month on that like a car payment?
    Well, car payment before the interest rate got high
    I agree with you, man I get it .

    • @Brandinwagstaff
      @Brandinwagstaff  2 месяца назад +1

      Thats the problem most people are going to cap there budget for this at around $200 a month. So either A you lose the client or B you both compromise and get the detail up to $200 a month.

      I love your videos, bro keep it up. I washed actually a lot of of them, bro.
      I’m also in the business been doing it for four years now
      I only do $85.00 dollar maintenance washes .
      But some customers are saying I should do $40 or even $60 washes I can’t do that that makes no sense
      We should make some kind of mobile Detail community where we set prices that way we know what to charge people or some kind of idea like a guide lol

      That’s awesome bro, Im glad youve been enjoying them 🙏 thank you so much!
      That’s great you been in the business four years, yeah its tough out there, the money is definitely there and plenty of clients its just how hard are you willing to work for it. $85 is not bad, but definitely say no to anything less. I dont know how some of these guys do $25-50 details they must not look great, from what I hear they are not. I mean at the point there doing the same quality the client can do themselves. Thats why detailers get paid because they produce high end results

    Hey brother, do you want to set up a meet where it’s just professional detailers and we could kind of just have some food and you know kind of change exchange ideas
    Let’s try to do this before the summer
    Maybe we could do something cool like Detail so let me wash your and Detail wash my van and see what the difference is and style overall performance

    Your maintenance details should be scheduled all on one day of the week .a rinse less wash and a quick wipe down vacuum .
