when i made horns i just maxed out the thickness and twist of the hair and didnt change the textures at all-

You can do that, but I prefer to do it this way to give it a smoother but still ribbed look

I kinda wish you had cut out the parts where you gloss over questions with the answers "idk about blender" or "i already made a video on that". It could have shaved off some time on the video and made it less filler ^_^ other than that, the actual info you did provide was incredibly helpful!

I'm not sure what you mean by that. You can always increase the offset under guide parameters to give volume but like... I'm not sure if thats what you mean
