How to Conceal Under Eye Circles / Bags

- Yikes! I get the worst under eye bags and dark circles and it's been a struggle trying to figure out the best way to conceal them and keep them concealed. In this video I'll show you what I use and how I cover mine so that the darkness stays covered all day long!!! I agree, I've watched some of these tutorials and they blab on way too much at the beginning, when you just want to know the product they're using and how to apply it correctly.
Yes indeed she didn't waste time babbling and did get straight to the point. Others tend to bore me and by the time they get to the actual presentation I'm too tired and frustrated to get into it.

+Carter Dudley Me too I'm sick of 18 year olds complaining of under eye circles, throw on a concealer they don't even need and they are suddenly an expert. I look worse than the girl in this video and I even had under eye blepharoplasty surgery to remove the fat bags 15 years ago, but now there's excess and wrinkled skin to deal with along with the purple dark circles. Any makeup and concealer/setting powder I use just accentuates the lines and when I smile I look 80 underneath my eyes. Guess I need another surgery to remove excess skin and wrinkles lol.
Amen!!!! I laugh at the others, they have no idea. Raccoons think I am their long lost cousin!!!

I was very, very glad to find this video. I went to Space NK and had a makeover...and you could STILL see my dark circles. I was really in despair of ever covering them up. My friend kept saying how tired I looked. This video has given me hope that there is SOMETHING I can do about them and I don't just have to put up with them.

Thank you! Thought I had dark circles, but when I stretched the skin, I saw that it was a shadowing effect and not actual discoloration. Can't wait to try this. I have all kinds of colored concealer to try because I was using it incorrectly. Salmon, here comes Mama!
Thank god that I can finally see someone without a ton of filters and fillers. I have undereye bags and feel disgusted with myself when I see a photo of me when it is visible. I am very insecure because of this. I find you amazingly beautiful so this make me a bit more comfortable with it. You can still be pretty with undereye bags
I feel the same exact way. Like they make me look so ugly (but I don't feel like that when I see OTHER people with them...guess we are our own worst critics).

I was wondering what the orange concealer is for until you mentioned that the dark circles show up as the day goes by. This is so true! Usually, around 3PM, I would cringe looking at myself in the mirror when I see my raccoon eyes staring back at me and all the concealer is gone from my eyes. I will definitely try the orange concealer.

You'll have to practise with the colours though, different skins need different colour correction... but it was a good tip, I'm going to try it too 👍👍

I love the NYX orange one. I deal more with puffiness than dark circles but the color correcting does make a huge difference! I love the real techniques setting brush for under eyes w/powder and over my eye primer with setting powder to help eyeshadow blend better. That brush is also awesome for spot powdering other areas of the face, contour and highlighting! Great helpful video 😍

I have hereditary dark circles that are nearly impossible to cover. I've tried almost everything.....but never this bright of an orange concealer. I'm going to try it!
I'm amazed. I tried for the longest time to conceal the dark circles under my eyes, and I couldn't figure out why the "lower" dark circles were impossible to cover up. Then I finally realized they weren't just dark circles, they were shadows caused by eye bags that I didn't even know I had! And I thought, "You just can't hide shadows from eye bags!". But you seem to have done a great job, so I'm going to get some different products and try again using your techniques. Thank you for giving me hope!

Beautiful! I love that natural look. The orange color corrector & concealer did the trick. I like the way large brushes are used to blend the tones across the face. Young people use many layers of product & methods that doesn't necessarily bring out the best on mature skin, which requires less product, the correct shades and application technique to be effective.
Straight to the job in hand no messing about, and she actually has bags too.

Cheaper alternative are L.A cancellation trio concealer and 16 hr elf concealer for the top. Because I have the tear trough and it gives me that shadow when I take pictures and stuff. I finally found something to make me look a little younger. I love it so much that when I received it through the mail today- I quickly placed 2 more orders

Mya Henderson , My under eye circles are caused from working the graveyard shift for 2 years in my late teens and not getting quality sleep. And my major allergy problem have added to them substantially. It's time for me to learn a different and more effective method of neutralizing them.....A more modern and natural looking method rather than white industrial strength raccoon eyes.

Finally a really honest video with no crazy bright lights. I'm a guy and sometimes have eyebags and circles... This was very useful. Also just have to say, you have such a striking face. Yeah that decision depends on the individual. I have a friend and she had surgery to remove her eye bags, her under eye area looks perfect. And in the process some wrinkles left the area too, so it was a win win for her. I have brown under eye circles plus bags. If I had the money, I would definitely get surgery. I'm 44 years old now, and I can't go to the office with minimal makeup, cause those bags and darkness, just make it impossible.
Great demo and explanation. My tip for mature under eyes that get crepey is to use Blistex Deep Renewal. This hydrates and plumps up the wrinkles. You can apply this anytime (before/after concealer, powder, etc.) I carry it in my purse and use throughout the day if my under eyes get dry. ♥ Elle

Omg thanks for this video I have really bad puffy eyes everyday and I was looking how to hide them .thanks!
I have deep tear-troughs and because they're so deep and the skin is so thin, my under-eye circles are insane. Even when I do all these steps, it still doesn't hide too much because my under eyes are "sunken" and I can't hide that. What did work for me though and I will do again soon, is get a little bit of filler in each tear-trough which lifts the skin up off the veins a little and just that little bit helped my under-eyes so much. It reduced the dark blue-purplish colour and it evened out the level of my skin there so there wasn't any shadow created by the tear-trough which no amount of makeup could hide. It was the best thing I ever did for myself and though a bit costly, it lasted close to a year and I felt so confident about my eyes. It made me look much more well rested and healthy and I can't wait to get it done again soon!! :)
absolutely! Many choose to do fillers in that area and it makes a huge difference. I'm so happy you found something that gives you that confidence :)

+private I always have a little creasing but I have come to the conclusion that when you have under eye wrinkles it's impossible to get rid of it completely :)
