I came out when I was 17. I'm about to turn 29 so it's obviously been a while, lol. You should totally make a coming out vid. I made one not too long ago and it was really vindicating. No one really knew the whole story but me so it kinda helped people relate and connect with me.
Hey hun idk if it's required in Australia, but plz make sure that either you or the previous ppl have gotten his shots. Parvo if a huge dog sickness in the states and Charlie is beautiful so yea. my dog got it 5 days before his first B-Day and almost lost the fight.
Here in Australia puppies get 3 lots of shots, one lot at 6-8 weeks by breeder, then 10-12 weeks & 14-16 weeks after that then yearly after the last lot of shots. Most vets will recommend to wait until after the 14-16 week shots are done before taking them out. My girl has gotten kennel cough 2x from the dog park in the last 12 months in Australia and she has had the vaccines for kennel cough (vaccines doesn't prevent it 100%). I would be very careful when taking dogs out as I have seen a lot of people take their dogs out when they have gastro, warts, kennel cough etc and not care if they affect others. I am sorry to hear about your dog almost losing the fight to Parvo I hope he is doing well now
