Ul'dah was my starting town! So many hours of hearing this on repeat grinding goldsmith and digging through the market for mats. I can still hear the sounds of like 10 people crafting right in front of the market board

My starting town, favorite city to hang in and one of my favorite songs in the game. ❤️ so many hours spent in Ul'dah lounging, chatting, crafting, etc. This hits me with such a wall of emotions, I love it! ❤️ this brings me a sense of comfort.

Ul'dah, the jewel of the desert, where brave men and women learned to turn sand into gold, a city-state under Rhalgar's grace, where I started my FF 14 journey back in 2017 as a Gladiator, amazing cover, so beautiful

Ul'dah wasn't my starting town, Gridania was. I only started playing in 2021, not that long ago. And still this song manages to get me in the feels every time. I truly believe that in a few decades, however long it takes for this game's servers to shut down, we're all going to listen back to songs like this one and bawl our eyes out. Hopefully that day never comes, but this song never fails to make me appreciate this game and cherish it while it lasts.
This takes me back to beta testing F14:ARR in 2013. Really good times. Thank you for your wonderful performance, John!
