Obviously a curb/shank but does anyone know exactly what kind? The one horse in the umbrella test was ridden in a loose ring snaffle while the other was a dutch gag? If the Police horses are that well trained and desensitized, do they really need the extra leverage? Sorry, kind of a bit novice. I don’t ride horses so I don’t wanna make a bunch of assumptions. If the horses just prefer the shank then it is probably okay. Really just wanna know the bit name so I can research on it.

Human soldiers are also highly conditioned. That doesn't mean they're not also brave in the midst of battle. It's just a matter of perception and semantics.
Soldiers in war braved the same shit with the same "learned helplessness" that's what bravery is. Enduring something even though it scares you. I'm guessing you've never been brave in your life
