Honestly, LGD needed a wake up call. They were getting outplayed by OG and TS, but would win based off a couple mistakes. TS played great DotA especially game 2, and collapse is the only offlaner in the same tier as faith bian (and had way more impact this series). TorontoTokyo seems to thrive under pressure because I haven't seen him play like this since TI.
I think the main reason why Spirit maintain their form is because Collapse and Mira have been solid post-TI, these duo have insanely good synergy one another.

What I can say about team psg. lgd players they lack the experience and knowledge playing from behind because they usually tend to dominate or atleast have the advantage somehow, unlike Team Spirit who even though are the TI champs still felt like they were the underdog in the whole series they are better team when they are under pressure and what makes TS gaming so exciting to watch.

Lgd playing behind and winning an exciting match in the pro scene? Team Spirit just plays better in those types of situation, I am not saying they would always win if playing from behind but the heroes that ts picks and strategy are just better in terms of delaying the game, playing tag by cutting the creep waves in the back and letting the opponent who has map control chase them around. and besides winning a major to the team who beat you in TI compared to Riyadh, which is technically a none valve sponsored event is a lot sweeter and bigger story but yeah both tournament prize pool is still under 1 million dollars, so they are all rich in the end of the day.. What I can say about team psg. lgd players they lack the experience and knowledge playing from behind because they usually tend to dominate or atleast have the advantage somehow, unlike Team Spirit who even though are the TI champs still felt like they were the underdog in the whole series they are better team when they are under pressure and what makes TS gaming so exciting to watch.

@@jeppri2274 I also watched that best of 3 Riyadh grand finals and difference was psg. lgd was always in control in those 2 games and if they are in control they most likely win the game which is very impressive, but when they are playing behind they lack the strategy of delaying the game by split pushing and making risky plays, I mean how often do you see psg. Lgd playing behind and winning an exciting match in the pro scene?
Team Spirit just plays better in those types of situation, I am not saying they would always win if playing from behind but the heroes that ts picks and strategy are just better in terms of delaying the game, playing tag by cutting the creep waves in the back and letting the opponent who has map control chase them around.
and besides winning a major to the team who beat you in TI compared to Riyadh, which is technically a none valve sponsored event is a lot sweeter and bigger story but yeah both tournament prize pool is still under 1 million dollars, so they are all rich in the end of the day.. Haha
