I had the same issue, but I finally bit the bullet and I bought a “bottle.” It looks just as dumb as in the pictures but the scent is fantastic if you like boozy vanilla. I don’t keep it with my other fragrances b/c it does look silly, but I am glad I finally bought it. (I just put some on before replying😂)

A great cheap alternative to Herod....Armaf Radical Brown!! Smells so dang good!! Club Black is the truth...thats a great Smokey vanilla bomb!! Sorry...if your talking more than $60 for a fragrance it's too much. No matter what they're nothing more than fragrance oil and alcohol. Nothing that should garner $900. 78 Vintage Green green is $20 bucks at Burlington. Great stuff.
A few years ago when Divide Vanille just come out, I got my bottle from LuckyScent. They included a free sample of Herod to my order and I was so surprised how similar they were to me. ❤ this series of video!
In my opinion I like lattafa ameer Al oud intense oud more than replicas by the fireplace. The performance is amazing on my skin, and the smoky woody oud smells different than what most men wear in my area which sets me apart from them. Amazing videos as always god bless brother

It does seem that Tom Ford is phasing out Lavendar Extreme. The Estee Lauder outlets were clearing this one out with heavy discounts (75% + an additional 20%) a few months ago in all sizes. I was able to pick up a 50ml (~75 bucks), a few of the 48ml metal travel sprays (~80 bucks each) and a 250ml decanter (~180 bucks) since it was such a steep discount. It is a really nice scent, but the original (and especially updated!) prices are very, very hard to justify. The Estee Lauder outlets are likely out of these by now, and the 75+20% discounts make me believe they were really trying to clear them out (or are just clearing up excess inventory of them, which is understandable considering the price). Either way, the 50ml, 48ml and 250ml all look fantastic!

Other items from the same (Tuscan leather intense, Beau de jour private blend, and others) have been discontinued already. The typical discount they offer is 40-50%

I either buy the original or I don't, alternatives are not even close. Spiriteuse Double Vanilla & Byredo Vanilla Antique are gorgeous Vanilla fragrances for winter. Chanel is my favourite brand, their DNA is impossible to replicate.
For MFK 540 I recommend that you try Pride of Armaf Pour Femme Rouge/White. In my opinion 99% copy and precisely for this reason, because it is not a complex blend in my opinion. I think Armaf is a much better alternative than Instant Crush Mancera.
I thought I’d help you set the record on how Trajan by Electimuss is supposed to be pronounced. You were correct in your videos and those who told you otherwise, were not. The fragrance was inspired by the Roman emperor Trajan and the letter “j” is not silent. The correct pronunciation is tray-jun.
The best cheapie I've ever bought is Armaf's Club de Nuit Intense, which people say is VERY similar to Noir de Noir. I haven't smelled the latter, but, OMG the Armaf fragrance is AMAZING!!

My favorite alternative to By The Fireplace is Silky Woods by Gallagher, not be a of Price, but because Silky Woods is a great more toned down version thats more wearable for everyday, same vibe but not as woody and strong

There's one I'm wrestling with right now - Xerjoff's Uden vs. Chanel Allure Homme Edition Blanche... you can smell the quality of ingredients in Uden, but I don't know if it's worth the extra price...
Not directed at Sebastian at all, but there's no way that one perfume can be worth 1000 if someone else can bring a very similar scent to market for 75. Sure they might be of higher quality... according to the brand, but how can we really know? Show me a cost breakdown of ingerdients and how and where they are sourced and I'll listen. Attar Collection's Khaltat Night is very, very good and very similar but the 100 ml bottle sells for less than half the price of the PdM. It's $150 CAD for the Khaltat Night.

Cover sunnamusk. They are smashing the oil game. In terms of my favourite alternative I use both sunnamusks evanto oil and mauboussin discovery as an aventus alternative. Discovery is different to aventus but evanto is very aventus-like but linear. You get a sharp pineapple after 4 hours easy. The mix is nice. Oil on beard and 1 spray of mauboussin

3 of my favorite expensive fragrances are Interlude 53, Diaghilev and Narjesi. Their alternatives are Interlude Black Iris (from a discounter) NY Intense (Di Niccolai) and Adonis Awakens. 😂 Not the cheapest alternatives.
My alternative to the overpriced Vetiver Extraordinaire from Frédéric Malle (275 € for 100 ml) is 2009 from L'Eau de Cassis, collection Lorenzo (92 € for 100 ml) !

If you really want to get down and dirty, Alhambra kismet is a cheaper and arguably better moustache dupe..I feel there's amped up patch in kismet.

The Mercedes is a great buy. And I believe the bottle design is based off their rear-view mirrors so I like the design. But I definitely recommend it
It's so good, smooth not a too sweet but warm dark vanilla! I'm a lady but it's unisex ans so right for autumn, get It!

Have you tried Givenchy PI originally made in 1998? It’s so amazing. It’s a men’s perfume, but it’s so good that I even wear it….Fantastic fragrance.

Creed Silver Mountain Water. The cheaper version but is still quality that lasts forever, (a little under 35 quid) Armaf Sillage.

Yes Athena is Fire!!! Love that house, also Ameer Al Oudh is great ,it's also similar to Royal Crown Sultan, not the same, but similar. Great alternatives I will add Oud for Glory it's 99% Oud for Greatness I have the two, but I will never buy Oud for Greatness again. Thank you Sebastian!!!

Cover sunnamusk. They are smashing the oil game. In terms of my favourite alternative I use both sunnamusks evanto oil and mauboussin discovery as an aventus alternative. Discovery is different to aventus but evanto is very aventus-like but linear. You get a sharp pineapple after 4 hours easy. The mix is nice. Oil on beard and 1 spray of mauboussin

3 of my favorite expensive fragrances are Interlude 53, Diaghilev and Narjesi. Their alternatives are Interlude Black Iris (from a discounter) NY Intense (Di Niccolai) and Adonis Awakens. 😂 Not the cheapest alternatives.

My alternative to the overpriced Vetiver Extraordinaire from Frédéric Malle (275 € for 100 ml) is 2009 from L'Eau de Cassis, collection Lorenzo (92 € for 100 ml) !
