- A first-time visitor to Seoul bites off more than she can chew when exploring the Northern section of the Seoul Fortress Wall. The wall protected the city in historical times and in recent years has been restored. The full circuit is a whopping 18km long, so it's definitely not for the faint-hearted!

Gang-nam style rocks Everyone, but I believe that the core beauty of Seoul lays on the epic mountains in Gangbuk (northern Seoul). Visit Doseon-sa(temple) in Bukhan-san (mountain) someday!
Thank you for the tip. Wow, I just looked at some pictures of Bukhan-san and the temple, the whole area is stunning. That is something for me to aim for in the future, it would be a great accomplishment to make it to the top!

The wall part that you called ‘old’ were rushed patches up parts when the walls were breached in the old times. This is in contrast to the more organized square large stone blocks. So actually the ‘old’ walls are newer then the ‘new’ walls.

At 18:26, I say "whatdayareckon" really quickly, all run together into one word. A saner version would be "What do you reckon about this amazing treat?" Maybe I should start using more Aussie words like larrikin, buckleys chance, and crikey on my future adventures. 🤣😍

@@CatherineGrenfell Hi~good morning ^^ If you go to the Busan..I recommend you the mt.hwang ryeong (황령산) tracking. ^^ From there the view of Busan is really beautiful day and night (especially at night) It will not disappoint you at all ^^ The starting point of the tracking is namchun subway station (남천역) good luck~

not only Seoul, but also Gyeongju is also beautiful city as well. You should visit there some time if you interest in history.
