Im halfway through doing my very first macrame flower and was just looking at all the cords already hanging when l had a break and found this video haha. Thank you! This is exactly what l want 👌🌸
I am new to macrame and have only made a couple of things so I am still figuring out how it all works but I am hooked. Great tutorial. Only thing for me was that I ran out of chord. Cant wait to try again with 20 ft chords this time.
OMG!!!! I just made this in miniature!!! I'm out of macramé cord...so I used Bakers Twine!! IT"S ADORABLE! I LOVE IT!!!! (ps...not gonna lie...bakers twine was a challenge!!!) THANK YOU!
for the flower, I did the 5 rows, but had much twine left...could do 14' twine and still make 5 rows petals. Also, I made myself a hairpin needle with 30 gauge wire, finally, I did 5 square knots for the berry knot in the center!!!! Thanks again! I see many of these in my future!!!
Hi! I love this tutorial!! I have a question...on the 5th row going left, why don't you connect to the reflecting row? Just curious. I may try it connecting and see what happens. Especially with thicker cord.
Hey, it is a great tutorial and i tried my own flower. Everything is fine but the hole in the middle is much too big. Do you have an idea what i did wrong? Thank you!
Thank you so much! I love how with this one you do the entire flower with the same cords rather than one petal at a time (that’s why the cords are so long for everyone asking)- genius! 🙌🏻🤩 Where did you get your tapestry needle; and do you know what size it is? Having trouble finding one in stores that big. Thanks again, love this and getting ready to make one now! 🌺😍🙏🏻
This is really good pattern but I agree with some comments. 17 (5,18 meter) feet is not enough to make 5 leaf. For persons that will try this pattern, I think your rope should be more than 17 feet (5,18 meter).
@gizem özdemir inanın hatırlamıyorum kaç metre yeteceğini siz her ihtimale karşı 2 mt fazla kesin tek seferlik sonra cok uzun gelirse diğerlerinde azaltırsiniz benve
When I first saw this I was like that would look beautiful as a curtain tie back... Finally was able to try it! and I succeded looks amazing! Thank you for the tutorial. I wasnt able to do a five row with 17 feet though maybe my cord is thicker but it did work for 4 rows :D
I made 2 flowers but both of them are with big hole at the center, how can we minimize the hole? finally, I made 3 berry knots in order to cover the hole.
I had this same issue and connected the berry knot to the base of each petal which worked well. Next time I am going to try connecting the 5th row to the reflecting row as well...I think this will make a smaller hole.
Hi! this is the easiest flower tutorial I've seen! Thanks! Which size big eye needle do you have that will allow for 3mm cord...or even larger maybe. And where can I get one? :-) Thanks!
Thanks! I used a blunt tapestry needle that was 2.75" long and the large eye was 2mm wide. I flattened the end of the cord so it could pass through the eye. I've had mine for a while and I'm not sure where it's from. But I've seen it on Amazon and Walmart (I think).
I love this flower! ❤️ This video is great for someone familiar with macrame....but not for newbies..you’re jumping steps faster than I can understand what to do...I’m getting frustrated and tired of trying! I wish you could go slower and be more descriptive on each step... is there any chance that you could do another video and be more detailed for us new crafters?
Your projects are lovely and your tutorials are very good. However, it would be easier to follow your voice instructions if you spoke slower and pronounced the words more clearly :) Thanks!
Tina it has to be inches. She doesn’t do enough rows to be 17 feet. I’ll try it with inches today because I don’t have the nerve to cut that much expensive cotton rope lol let you know if it works
Tina it is 17 feet because unlike other tutorials all of the petals are connected in this one . That way at the end their arnt as many strings hanging down .
Tina Tsonis - Sounds like that would be right! If you watch the whole video, you would see she ends up using most of it on one flower with a bit of fringe to finish it off 🙂🌼
Tina Tsonis It’s correct. With most other tutorials you do one petal at a time and have to connect them all at the end; with hers, you do the whole flower in one shot, hence why the cords are lengthier.
berna oğuzer Yes. With most other tutorials you do one petal at a time and have to connect them all at the end; with hers, you do the whole flower in one shot, hence why the cords are lengthier.
Your hand movements are much too fast. I have watched, rewatched, slowed down, stopped replayed DOZENS of times. I literally cant follow your video. You need to be more specific and slower with your motions and movement of the cords. I like how your pattern is all one and joined at the end as opposed to 5 separate petals but i cant follow. Im sorry, your video is not helpful
Great tutorial. This was my first flower. I appreciate that it doesn’t have a lot of cords and is basically done in one sweep. Great job!!!
Really well done tutorial and a beautiful flower to finish! Can’t wait to try this out and have my own flowers 😁

Lindo trabalho 😍. Parabéns pelo tutorial. Fiz com barbante 12 fios e usei 3,20m. Deu super certo 😉
Thank you ❤
Awesome tutorials! Thank you for sharing your talent!

Awesome! A mini flower sounds adorable. I'm glad this helped.
Well done you!! 😂
So beautiful and easy flower pattern thank you so much
If i want to make a bigger flower i
Increase rows or
Cords
Thanks! I think I would increase both.
How beautiful, I'm going to have a go at making this, thanks for sharing x

Can u elaborate on the use of the tapestry needle
It is lovely but i dont understand the last part, when you connect the last petal and the first petal, i cant see 4 loops i only see one or two
Its soooo useful, thanks, a question, can i do this with 4 mm cord?? With the same size? I mean 17 ft?
Hey,
it is a great tutorial and i tried my own flower. Everything is fine but the hole in the middle is much too big. Do you have an idea what i did wrong? Thank you!

Lindsay T. Paschal ypur comments made it clear too, I keep replaying if I heard it clearly and yes 17' of 3 cords.. fantastic work❤️

I had the same issue. Stopped half way through last petal. Will try with 4 rows to use up chord. Thanks for tip.
can this same method be used to make a star? like without making the petals cupped?
Vc explica super bem, adorei. Obrigada por ensinar. Belíssima!!!.😊🤗😙👏👏👏👏👏
Thank you!
If I am using a thinner cord , do I cut the rope length ?
Sorry just to clarify did you say 17 feet long cord?
I made 2 flowers but both of them are with big hole at the center, how can we minimize the hole? finally, I made 3 berry knots in order to cover the hole.

How big are these flowers?
I love this tutorial, however 5,20m is too short for 5 petals I managed only 4 with no more yarn for the rest.
Aww I really want to make a smaller one but.. knots 😬
Can’t figure it out kinda confusing
Same I gave up
Wow beautiful👍
I used 17 ft and was only able to make 4 petals
Very nice
Precisa 3 fios de 2,60m
Essa é medida toda ? Pois fiquei na dúvida obrigada
@@eve3906 Eu fiz várias vezes esta flor, e deu certo assim!! Esta é medida toda!!
@@rrochadacosta
Me ajudou muito. Mas muito obrigada. Gratidão 🙏♥️
Hi. I wonder how many meters each rope
yuuki All 3 cords she used are 17 feet each; you can convert feet to meters on Google. 🙂
what are the lengths of the wires ?
Faustine Sanchez Do you mean the 3 cotton cords? There are no wires. Cords are 17 feet each, she says it and it’s on the screen toward the beginning.

I agree. Speaks too fast also and hands cover the cords at the beginning.
Please speak slooowly, so we can understand
