This is quite simply one of the best postrock albums i have heard in many years... i don´t even want to try to put it in words. It hits on an emotional level and not many bands manage to do that so porperly. Thank you very much for creating this masterpiece!
I have to commend you for the spoken word interludes on this album. The older man's story was very moving and then the reflection on how suffering can exist with a controlling force. It played so well against the music and resonated hard. Bravo.

Haha man, you have some of my favorite bands / biggest influences nailed pretty well. RC and FoM are definitely huge for me. Evpatoria is just classic... then throw in Godspeed as my other biggest influence, plus some Grails, EITS, From Monument to Masses, Yndi Halda, Cult of Luna, Callisto, MONO, O'Brother... roots in melodic death metal... an obsession with Thrice from my teenage years... add it all up and I guess you get this album. Thanks so much for the kind words 🙏

I am listening to this for 3 days straight now and it's one of the most beautiful and yet bleak albums I have ever listened to. It's absolutely insane how good this is.
I listen to a lot of post-rock and this album has stuck with me. I listen to it over and over again at work. It's amazing, keep it up boys.

10/10. "The Other Side of Despair" and "Shoreless" expressed perfectly some of the fiercest emotions I experienced when grieving.

Where to start ahh I’ve been listening to all metal for over fifty five years now and I’ll say this you all knocked me out of my shoes (you owe me a pair by the way lol). BRAVO!! One night sleep didn’t come to me and I was just checking out music and saw the name of the album so why not I listened to it and I’m glad I did. The music and when the guy spoke of his life are blended to perfection. The drummer allot of credit for you for you know when and how hard to come in and fade out. Blended to perfection!! Postrock perfection. I am especially impressed by the uniqueness and freshness of the compositions and also balance between ambient or softer parts, and the powerful climaxes. All passages developed incredibly well. Rare quality and depth!

First part of the lyrics of Shoreless: They tell me that she is happy now…that she is at peace…that she is in God’s hands. But if so, she was in God’s hands all the time, and I have seen what his hands did to her here (p.25). What chokes every prayer and every hope is the memory of all the prayers she and I offered and all the false hopes we had…hopes encouraged, even forced upon us, by false diagnoses...by strange remissions, by one temporary recovery that might have ranked as a miracle. Step by step we were ‘led up the garden path.’ Time after time, when He seemed most gracious He was really preparing the next torture (p.27)...From (C.S. Lewis, A Grief Observed, 1961).
