Would be cool if you guys ever get around to doing a video on Brooklyn Pumper and being able to compare some of the differences based on their different local needs like the M1

Coming from Vic, I thought RFS in the Greater Sydney Area only provided grass and scrub firefighting, as Fire & Rescue still operate in these areas. Can anyone provide some insight on this? Cheers

Christian, in NSW some areas are shared with FRNSW and so some RFS brigades are equipped for structural fire fighting as well as bush

Well pretty much some areas are in Bush and city type of things so they need both companies to do what they can do best but if you go look out in the west type of area in New South Wales you’ll see a lot of rule fire service and then fire and rescue in the same area

Its the same as Victoria where CFA does urban stuff on the fringes of Melbourne

Rfs are pretty much just back up and support for fire rescue at structure fires

So they clearly have a cat 10 pumper since he mentioned it is 2x4, cat 11 pumpers are 4x4 just so everyone knows their are 2 types of pumpers with their own differences
