    The fish has been a good return of value. It's survived longer than I would have expected.

    It is so hilarious the way Einstein attacks the fish, it makes me laugh!
    Marcia you had a video a few days ago of Einstein at Jeff’s office, where Jeff tells him: you are jumpie. So he answers, I can like it. Jeff then says, you can like it? And Einstein says, I can like it a lot! That was so hilarious. I have been looking for it to watch it again, but it is no longer available?
    Have a wonderful blessed 2024 together with your Hubbie and your wonderful Einstein.

    Would you know where i could buy a talking bird

      Try a local rescue.

      You need to visit a parrot rescue if you want a bird that already talks. Even breeds that are supposed to talk don't necessarily. 85% of parrots are resold, given away, or abandoned within just 2 short years of ownership! Usually because of behavior problems like screaming or biting issues. This is not the fault of the parrot, but the fault of the owner for not taking the time to learn how to properly nurture and train the parrot. With love and patience a parrot can recover from these issues, but it takes a great deal of time on the part of the new owner to gain the parrots trust and working with the parrot. You must be willing to learn how to use positive reinforcement training to redirect those behavior problems. This is a huge commitment and life-style change, but very rewarding in the long run. It is a marathon, not a sprint. If this parrot does indeed have behavior problems, success in changing these will not happen in a few weeks or months. It may take years of devotion and consistency. Here are 2 links for you. The first from Good Bird Inc., a resource I highly recommend about positive reinforcement training. www.goodbirdinc.com/parrot-behavior-problems.html. The second is from a very good site about parrot ownership. www.parrotparrot.com/articles/gettingabird/so-you-want-a-pet-bird/ This is just the tip of the iceberg. There is so much you'll need to learn through the journey of parrot ownership. Good Luck and all the best to you!

    Why do you want him to keep attacking the fish?, will it teach him to attack things that appear to be alive or small animals?

    • @einsteinparrot
      @einsteinparrot  9 месяцев назад

      He knows it' a toy and he'll never be in contact with any live animal he could hurt. He's always in the house or in his travel cage when he's not.

    Just imo i don't think he likes the fish , he normally says no when you ask him but when he attacks its he means business he wants to kill try putting some fake blood on and around the fish and see what he does ❤☺🇺🇸❤
