That said, I am African American, so please do not lump all black women the same..A lot of Black women are trying to compete with straight hair and light skin instead of embracing our golden skin and beautiful curly locks..Bottom line is when we love ourselves we can truly show how we love and support our men and other men will appreciate and want to be in a lifelong committed relationship with us. Yes this is very reason women of color, especially black women should NOT be supporting men wearing dresses, makeup, stay at home dad's, unemployed and low achieving men who rather be the woman in the relationship than the man who takes lead and provides and protects his woman and family. The world already has an over abundance of hetero and bi women, us straight women have to compete with. But so few available, sane, loyal, trustworthy, drug, alcohol and childfree, upper educated and higher income heterosexual gentleman that are black, majority are white, privileged and racist. Supporting LGBTQIA is and continue to keep moments and weddings like these from happening. Heterosexual and masculine men are deliberately becoming scarce.
