    Day 7-13 of me making as much money as possible starting from $0. In this video, I try and go in hard on the Uber Eats delivering and charity shop item flipping to build up the early bank balance.

    Once you can, you have to buy an actual bike. Renting it really adds up over the long run.

    • @gedr7664
      @gedr7664 4 месяца назад +6

      £35 per day - over a month if he rents it 2/3 days thats £700. A new e-bike is ~£1000

      If we was doing this for a living and not a RUclips video then over the long run it would be best to just buy an e-bike. Even better if he was able to just make a small monthly payment on it instead of 35 a day.

    Absolutely love the series Jon!
    It's just the reality of it that makes it so good to watch. Not some milionaire youtuber doing this as a challenge in their mansion in california. You are someone we can all relate to.
    I wish you all the best Jon. Good Luck!

      For sure this is what i love about him. Its fine seeing others do this stuff but most others have at the least, another job, some are as you say, living in mansions or what not, Jon here is just grinding the hard life like all of us. It's equally interesting to see how little Uber pays on bike, like it pays the same via a car but it does i believe have more potential just due to being able to offer far orders for higher price and shorter travel, same applies to scooter.

    Your offers still boggle my mind! But I forget you're on a bike. Car orders are different. I often see $16-$20 dollar orders and every once and a while there will be a hidden tip where the order comes out to $40-60 dollars. Your earnings in USD is like 10/hr lol. That's lower than even our most poorest states. That's why I'm so boggled by your earnings, BUT also Im assuming things are cheaper for you as well?
    Also that bike is a RIP OFF lol. You could just sign up for Affirm or whatever the UK equivalent is and finance a brand new and much better E-bike for less per day than you are paying for yours and you would own it. I also personally would recommend an E-Scooter but idk if they are legal yet in the UK lol. But I went from walking, to a bike (not ebike) and jumped straight to a scooter b/c they're quicker, in my opinion have better range and in a pinch I can jump off the scooter if Im about to get hit or fall over. Can't easily do that on a bike.
    But seriously keep it up!!! I don't even do DoorDash and Uber anymore, I edit videos for content creators and make 6 figures now but that definitely did NOT happen over night man. But these videos are so interesting even tho I don't dash anymore I have to watch them!

    2300 pounds for just living is high right?

    • @Ray_Vun
      @Ray_Vun 4 месяца назад

      it's high but it also depends on where you live. if you're in london, the price is gonna be way higher just because how ridiculous rent is. 2.3k would only cover your rent and you'd have some spare change left. he probably calculated it based on where he lives, so it's a high value but not ridiculously high

    • @JohnSmith-ox3gy
      @JohnSmith-ox3gy 3 месяца назад

      @@Ray_VunHis driveway cleaning service operates in Leeds so I doubt he is paying central london prices. My estimate would be that the rent would come to 50% of the price of London.
