Played with this racket a total of 4+ hours. Eventually, I chose to part ways with it. I'll explain why at the end. + looks (except for the black bumper guard) + x damp works, despite the high stiffness I didn't feel any discomfort on my joints + the IsoFlex external bushings make sure there are no erratic responses on the stringbed + the sweet-spot was large, compared to hitting the center of the sweetspot, it gave about 85% response at misshits towards the sides and about 90% towards the top of the hoop + easy access to topspin and underspin + better control on flat hitting than I thought when I first looked the open 16*19 string pattern + balls didn't fly on flat forehands because of the open stringbed, but because of the very easy power delivery + overall maneuverability for its thickness + very easy to hit the 2-handed-backhand + throat shape - overall stiffness - the 24mm beam and the white colour cosmetics on top of that make the racket feel too thick for me - the black bumper guard gets in my eye when hitting the forehand, I would prefer a total-white look. - too bulky for my 1-handed backhand - too much power at 23kg, so if strung lower for better comfort the power delivery could get unmanagable for me - high tone "ping" noise offered most of the times a "hollow" and "raw" feel I can see it being used by beginners with short and medium swings, using multifilament strings or polyesters at low tension for easy access to power and spin and ability to stay in play especially when defending. The easy power would come in handy to learn the flat serve. What I would like to see: I did not keep this racket in my arsenal because of the unecessarily-high stiffness for a 100 sq inch "tweener" frame. I would really like to try a 22mm-beam version with the exact same specs. * String used: Luxilon Element 1.25 (soft polyester string) ** Balls used: Head Tour XT (slightly heavy, but soft enough) and Dunlop Fort Court (slightly light, fast response). *** Court surface: outdoors acrylic court in decent condition for practices and well-preserved carpet with sand for sliding
Got my recently strung, and the stringer complained about how tricky it was to string around the outer grommets..... since they dont have like, grooves. How was the stringing for you? Does what he said make sense to you at all??? Cheers!
@@mutton4ever I like how the new Head rackets look myself, I own the 2021 Head Radical MP and I think it looks great but I prefer to play the Tecnifibre T40 305! The Radical is just a little underpowered for me and has the smallest sweetspot of any racket I've tried, but great control, spin and feel! Peace.
I miss technifibre’s tfeel line. Played with the red tfeel 290 throughout high school, it’s too bad they discontinued the line
Pure Drive for sure thickness throughout,16x19 pattern on strings, the weight in the head is different though
Is better than TF 298 IGA? What do you prefer?
I've demoed it. Looks like there's no vibration dampening !

Do you think is a good option for epicondilitis (tennis elbow)? Or which raquette do you recommend me with good power and arm friendly? 🙏🏼
@@adiooc no it's not. Get a Pro Kennex Ki5 295 instead

Beautiful racket. Wish the RA is lower
The technology in the handle helps for a softer feel despite the higher RA
RA 67?? Isnt it 71?
Piping hot caffeinated beverage! 🎢👍
Is an overweight, 40 year old, male 3.5 considered and intermediate?
Coach Gu has such a baby face! :-)
so does Coach Chris
Without looking at the specs, it sounds and looks like it has some heft to it.
Where is coach Chris ? ?
He’s on tour now
It is like my lacoste racket
Is this basically a Pure Drive clone?
Definitely not as powerful or stiff as a pure drive.
Stick to making string.
Theyve got the most boring paint jobs lol
But clean
Id rather have boring than the junk Head has putting on their recent racquets
