It really does suck being a single mom in a marriage. It's crazy how this video shows up when I'm going through a rough patch in my life. I live in Texas and our families are on the east coast.. no village/no friends. Nothing. I have three kids.. 7,4, and 10 month old. My husband is in school so it's pretty much me doing everything in the evenings when the kids get home from school. I am home with my son whom breastfeeds so that's a job within itself. I'm thinking about putting him in daycare once I start back working again. I need some type of relief at this point 😢
Great tips on "thinking outside the box" and paying for memberships. The cost of nannies and daycares make the annual fees worth it. I did not think of YMCA. The Boys and Girls club have been a blessing to my sister and her kids. About these grandparents....hmmm... it doesn't take much to help a mom. I tried to get my sister to watch my kid 2 hours a month and that was too much. But these folks can sit on the phone with you for hours. A tribe that wants to help is necessary and it likely will not be family.
parents arent parenting..thats the real problem ..they have all these babies, and wanna drop them off at grndmas house to raise , ..wheres the daddy?? i raised my son, my mom rarely babysit , it was MY baby not hers- and she loved her grandson, these young ppl dont wanna raise their own kids, my granny raised 8 while my grandad worked ..you dont get a break boo its called LIFE lol
I respect your opinion. But it sounds very scarcity/crabs in a barrel-like. Your mom was a sahm it sounds like which is a privilege and even those moms need a break. I have much more feedback on your comment. But i will leave it at this. Your mindset is the reason why alot of moms suffer in silence, often leading to several mental health issues for you and the poor child who got the exhausted, “break-less”, mom.
@@themultifacetedmom this person has been on all “mom channels” leaving comments like this. Just fyi ❤ not sure why they follow us moms and leave negative comments. Very sad.

You shouldn’t have a problem with your grandmother disciplining your kids as long as they’re not abusing them
