I love the image. It just feels like the three of them are entering Zero's chamber for the final battle of the original series, and all of them know their not leaving alive. Bass has a hardon to try and prove zeros a failure, Protoman is bracing himself for the death he's been secretly longing for and rock... he's genuinely wondering wether there was any way to avoid this conflict before it started, never even contemplating his own death.
I always loved mm8 stage select music. I bump that and frostman/aquaman theme still

that is Bass. he was created by Wily to be the "answer" too megaman. he actually was based on mega mans robot designs but i dont think completely... he only wants too be the strongest. that includes killing megaman which he never can. Bass is strong though
