I’m in mid 30s project 86 was my first mosh pit at icthus music festival back in probably 2000 or 2001 in Kentucky.

Holy shit. Project 86 throwing another heavy hitter song that slaps hard. They've always done well with their music and lyrics. Love it!

Visual's were next level, easily my fave song by them. I want to look closer at the lyrics, but it seems like it's a song describing the horrors of eugenics. Good stuff

By the way I ran across a secular band just the other day here on RUclips that I had never heard of. I really like the sound of their newer songs.. Unfortunately.... although the music and vocals are amazing the band is rather disturbing. Not so much in a overt or blatant way but more subtle or creepy. They do have some religious sounding themes but certainly not Christian. The band is Sleep Token. The song Alkaline is great musically for example but not in imagery.
Also you remember the band, Falling In Reverse... They just released a new song this week. "Watch The World Burn" Vocals and music are outstanding of course... Very impressive along with the video...but of course definitely not a good message.. Sigh Of course they aren't subtle at all, but very blatant and straightforward. Shame that such talent that does an amazing job mixing genres with very impressive music is so hostile to Christianity. Of course not all secular bands are this way lol just some of the ones I really like musically. Wow, this turned into a long post lol..
@@markadams5009 Dude Sleep Token is awesome! They're super unique & talented! I'm really looking forward to their upcoming album! I did hear that Falling In Reverse song btw. I listened to it a couple times and really enjoyed the sound, but upon actually reading the lyrics I kinda stopped listening to it.
@@Metal777 I just discovered a RUclipsr that I like who does Audio Autopsies Reaction/Review of songs. You should watch his video on Watch the World Burn. This guy does a good job of analyzing stuff. The track mainly is Ronnie talking about his issues with people who don't like him etc. but of course there at the end of the song/video the lyrics and imagery definitely take a shot at Christianity. ☹️
Lol that guy that I just told you about (RUclips channel - Audio Autopsy - just TODAY posted a Reaction/Review on Thrice - Black Honey.... Lol.. You should definitely watch that too, good reaction/review and this guy isn't doing FIRST listen reactions like you are but he's doing videos on music he has listened to before. You can tell on how he talks about the album. Etc.. So it also makes for another good video format Reaction/Review/Analysis/"Autopsy" lol of songs that you are familiar with and have listened to before. This is a good example of an additional video type you might also want to incorporate that would allow you to review and discuss songs you already know. (Lol I literally just discovered this guy tonight when I looked up reactions to Watch the World Burn. He definitely wasn't one of the top listed videos of those big RUclipsrs that do reactions. I scrolled way down.. but his thumbnail/channel name caught my eye and sounded interesting with the audio autopsy idea... Good stuff!!

And this is crazy serious too. If you look at their self-titled album, they’re similar to TFK and POD. Now, they have the same style as Memphis May Fire, The Devil Wears Prada, and a whole bunch of other metalcore bands
One of my good pals (well, we've lost track over the years) Project 86 is his very favorite bands. I never quite got into them. But this is a decent track. I wouldn't skip it, but I'm not quite adding to my "likes" for playlist purposes.
Not breakdown but interlude is a nice touch.

I'm loving the direction P86 is headed for OMNI. When you listen to this or Metatropolis, it certainly still sounds like P86, just a whole lot heavier. Plus, Schwab is on point with the lyrics. To me, this album is shaping up to be the spiritual successor to Truthless Heroes.

It’s a bit sad that their double album that’s coming up is their final endeavor as a band, but man are they ever going out with a bang
Probs my fav song off the album; I love the swing beat. Not much of a reaction though... most of this vid was just you bobbing your head and then saying everything was great without justifying the rating you gave 🫤
