The charm and backyard privacy was the best on the one they chose. 2nd one felt like it was all cement surroundings and the 3rd house had too many neighboring windows looking into the backyard space.

I live in Mass and it’s absolutely expensive. Actually Worcester is one of the cheaper cities. I would take my winnings and head south, sorry would not stay here.

I'm from Worcester. It's a dump
And there are some great towns/areas just a few miles away in nearly any direction. I get the desire for a vintage house - I live in a 94 y.o. beautiful house -but it’s in a super safe, neighborhood and city. Get out of your familiarity zone and branch out a little!

I so agree, he's so talented in designs. HGTV has changed a lot, few years back it had so many different designers. I loved it.
Too bad he doesn't offer more design ideas as they move through the homes. It could be fun to watch them redo the house they pick with David's suggestions

that's funny about the Worcester pronunciation, reminds me when I was learning to fly in Australia in 91....I already had my pilots license but was learning the navigation phase to get an unrestricted pilots licence.....when we would fly over towns my flight instructor would always ask me what town is that (to check if what I'm seeing on the maps and what I'm seeing visually are the same)...and so we were flying over a town called Gloucester and when he asked what's the name......I've never heard of it before.....so I said something like "Glock-Kester"......lol....suddenly I had a flying instructor laughing his head off.....It's pronounced "Gloster" you idiot, he told me........I was embarrassed buy I was flying a plane so I didn't have time for that!!!!!
Anyhow, we didn't have you tube back then obviously, so I've just looked it up and it's pronounced Glaw-ster"........bloody idiot flight instructor lol
There are so many towns with such difficult pronunciations, and, I'm sure I'd be mangling words just as you did - it's worse when it's a place spelled the same as another but with different pronunciations! "Versailles" is somehow "vur-sigh" (France) *AND* "Ver-sails" (Kentucky)!? What?!
