Star Wars Droid Factory TC-14 MAKMCSWF

Join me to take a look at the Droid Factory TC-14. Thanks to Chad and my buddies from the NZ Disney Droid group for securing one of these. I have a controversial take on the metallic paint versus vac-metal debate.

Nice figure, happy to have it but it has knock-knees! QFNW did you create your theme tune, and will you release a full length version any time soon? :D
PS agree with the vac-metal comment - they are too small/shiny to really appreciate them when vac'd IMO

Good review and comparisons, Jason! I have yet to break this new TC-14 off her card but agree she looks great. We need a similar Threepio in TVC. Perhaps with a bit more articulation. Hasbro could make a shiny Threepio from ANH as well as a grimy Dune Sea version. Both on glorious TVC cards. Threepio definitely overdue for a new sculpt. Pawtucket gang dropped the ball a bit on Huyang. Cheers!

Cheers Luke. I agree a new C-3PO sculpt is overdue. This one looks great, but being a build a droid definitely limits the shoulder, hip, and head articulation.

And why can't Hasbro use the BAD buck for Threepio?! Great video, Jason! Got my blog up a couple hours ago, covers some of my customs, including touching up BOBF Luke just using paint.
Edit: I regret not getting this TC-14. That paint job is great!

The vac metal color looks better to me right next to each other. I prefer the better articulation.
