That one scene in WhoBob WhatPants but SpongeBob's face actually scares the fish, and not the bubble

For context, SpongeBob is lost in a city where people are terrified of bubbles due to the Bubble Poppin' Boys' reign of terror, and in this infamous horrifying scene, oddly enough, the fish is scared off by the snot bubble SpongeBob blew, not by his hideous close-up face... but what if he was?
Also, for good measure, I added that one scream.
