How is the school principal just gonna post up in a student's room like that?! That is the beauty of this show. The actors were so charismatic, the show literally got away with anything.
My Mom once invited my schoolteacher to have dinner with us when I was a kid. It was one of the most bizarre things I ever saw like two different worlds colliding.
I can't believe I'm now older than Mr. Belding is here...seems like yesterday, when it was 1992 summer and I was watching this episode while eating a bowl of berry berry kix.
You can't blame Zack for being jealous. If he was having dinner with a female friend who looked like Christy Brinkley or Elle MacPherson, Kelly would be upset.
The principal walk is into the bedroom and is all like , “Hey.” Mr. Belding needed friends it seemed like and he wanted to be cool like the teens. 😂😂😂😂😂😂
So mr belding was willing to pay anything for his mother in law to stay in a hotel… but when his wife kicked him out, he had nowhere to go??? Why didn’t he get the hotel room and stay there?
This episode and an episode of "Married With Children" are a sore reminder that I'm getting old. When Screech tried to ditch Mr. Belding at Zack's house... *SCREECH:* He followed me, Zack. I tried to lose him. He's pretty quick for an old guy. When Al Bundy got a second job at a fast-food joint... *TEENAGE EMPLOYEE:* [speaking to teenage co-worker] Look at the poor old guy. Why would a... 60-year-old man want to work in this dump? At the time, Dennis Haskins (Mr. Belding) was 40 and Ed O'Neill (Al Bundy) was 42. I am now 45.
But Kelly was wrong for hanging out with her ex boyfriend. Who does that? Have dinner lol. He has intentions to steal her from her man. Lisa was the only right one in this episode when she gave the girls advice. Jesse can be a loud mouth and annoying.
This show would've been pretty great without him, I think, but Dennis Haskins made it GREAT! So funny. A good chunk of my favorite SBTB moments were his. When he got all the boys together for some kind of Men's meeting, and gave out a primal roar to open the meeting just absolutely kills me. So funny. Pretty sure that was this same episode.

Richard and Becky Belding should've got divorced. AC Slater and Jessica Spano shouldv'e broke up and Kelly Kapowski and Zack Morris should've broke up too and Lisa Turtle needs to shut up snd mind her own business
Mr. Belding was a one of a kind principal. Super chill, genuine, cool, caring and compassionate who can relate to his students no other principals could or would. And this happening in the 90s made it even cooler because it was a cooler time. Not this current woke era were in.
