This is my prob top 3 my favorite mk9 match. When I saw that, I knew Sonicfox was built different and that there’s a whole nother tier of greatness our MK vets had yet to achieve.
I remember this good! 16 bit was hard as hell to beat in this game and here comes this young kid stepping to him. People wonder why I talk about Sonic so much but I know the history! I have seen all of his matches. The way he played Batgirl in Injustice 1… I knew then!!
Mk11 is built to be competitive. You would lose a round to three good reads in Mk9 or 10. That is honestly trash in a competitive environment. Don't get me wrong I love preforming the combos in the old Mk games, but that dosen't determine whose the better player.
@@kingsgambit7098 11 has its fair share of anticompetitive mechanics also. More importantly 11 doesnt feel like MK. Slow paced and tame is not what i come to mk for. I have SF for that.
Mk11 isn't perfect by no means, but it has fixed a lot of issues with the older games. The problem is the combos. We love and hate them. They are in no way good for competition, but they are great for entertainment. That is one of the reasons for krushing blows.

I know they wanted to step foot into the e-sports scene but that's not what the majority of us even come to the game for. Competitive has to be the by product of what the game is, not the building blocks.
