What I love about this scene is Deke's (Travolta's) thoughtful facial expression, on hearing Hale's (Slater's) remark about how he loves having the power of the bombs at his disposal -- I think it shows that Deke inwardly acknowledges that Hale was unknowingly spot-on in his psychological assessment (even though he meant it as light-hearted banter) of his co-pilot's true psychotic nature and crazed motivation. This is a fun movie, with some enjoyable performances from the entire cast, but, especially Travolta, as a totally unrepentant psycho. Another solid effort from master John Woo.
0:05 I think this is the moment were Deke considers asking Hale to join him on the hunt, because with that off-hand banter remark Hale showed just how well he knew him

One word to describe this classic
0:05 I think this is the moment were Deke considers asking Hale to join him on the hunt, because with that off-hand banter remark Hale showed just how well he knew him
Only certain people called God though lol
That's me when I've had enough of my teammates questioning me
0:11 Good acting by John Travolta.
this movie blew me away as a 11 year old
John Travolta Betrayed Christian Slater
travolta makes conveying a psychopath look so easy. He has a true gift.
Well Deke's you won that fight! Then Hale places the 20.00 under a rock.
B-2 actually!
I know this is three years late, and you've probably re-watched the movie since, but in the movie it is a fictional B3 bomber.
Simon Nebel
Bfflm
Its worth 2 in a half billion dollars. I met a pilot of that before. ✈ at air show.
Too bad the USAF doesn't have the B-3 bomber but the closest may well be the new B-21; whether a scenario like this would happen is unclear as of now.
😮
Ha
One of the dumbest movies ever
And yet you're watching a clip of it. DUMBEST COMMENT EVER
It's a good movie.
